Great store if you don’t have children. Brought my two nieces and a nephew to do some late Christmas shopping planned on spending $100+ and was turned away at the door. Got out of the main room to watch another three customers turned away. For having kids under 13 with them.
I fully appreciate and understand that businesses are permitted to run how ever they wish but it definitely cost them sales today. And It was a real let down to all three kids who were looking forward to picking their own gifts.
Edit after owner response.
Owner lacks professionalism when responding to unhappy reviews or customer experiences.
Now I’m very happy to not have spent my money to benefit the owner or store. I’ll take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same. You can actually appreciate and understand a business’s right to run how it likes, without you actually liking how it is run. They’re two separate situations.
Reviews are opinions based off experiences. I’ve been here before and had great experiences. I had hope to share that with my family. But given being turned away and then having that experience and then be told by the owner “my sales were not your business.” No, but my sales and the other who got turned away COULD have been YOUR business.
But you’d rather be defensive, dismissive and quite frankly rude than work to make a solution or explain the policy reasoning. And that’s your business. Good luck with that. Wishing you the vibe you give out. Which is...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful store full of just about any and everything you could possibly hope to find. Wide selection of stones, crystals, geodes, and small selection of fossils as well as having another whole section of the store dedicated to incense, all kinds of tea, books, banners, and so much more. The owner and other lady who runs the other side shop are both very friendly and knowledgeable about most if not all products available. I’ve been coming here off and on every month or so for more than a year to check out the new products and easily spend more than $100 per visit in the crystal side alone each visit. I can’t believe I had missed out on this store for as long as it’s been in Columbus but I couldn’t be happier that I’ve managed to find out about it. Will be returning here today to add to my collection.
Also as a little side note to the ignorant parents leaving 1 star reviews, maybe use your eyes and actually read the signs that say “no children under 13.” This store has many VERY fragile items and is obviously a precaution as to not have breakage of store items that can be costly to you if broken. If you can’t manage to comprehend why the owner would not want children around such items then maybe take your business, negative thoughts, and fragile egos elsewhere as they are not welcome in such a beloved...
Read moreBought some tea here. Came to buy again and brought my son in. Was chased out by an old hag. I misread the sign that NO ONE under 13 is allowed in the store not just that they need to be with parents. From other reviews I assume kids playing with the rocks is why. Seems like a silly way to run a business. As an additional I’m not surprised hippie and satanic parents don’t have kids that mind. Real shocker. Edit: when you’ve been three times and each time the sign was either not there or has changed the other two times 🤣 good grief. Read all handwritten signs on the door everyone. Or just save money and buy online. She doesn’t understand the only reason to shop local in 2024 is customer service and she obviously...
