I have gone in here quite a few times, and this last time I went in, I bought alot of items, and the pjs I bought for my little guy, ... I noticed the top and bottoms were on separate hangers, and separate price tags.... though they were clearly a set ! I asked the cashier if he could do better on the price for the pair of pjs, since they originally came together in the store & the answer I got was just crazy! I was totally upset with the "way they sell children's pajama sets" The cashier at the time I bought them, told me that they sell the set pieces seperatly because "not everyone wants to buy the 2 pieces, that they may only want bottoms or top pieces" .... this was the most rediculous answer I have ever heard ! I have noticed that the pricing overall has gone up , they are not nearly as good on prices, or customer service... as they were in the first year they opened. Now, they are the same as other thrift stores, nothing that sets them apart like there was in the beginning. I am really upset with the fact that I ended up paying more for used pjs, than I could have paid for NEW ONES AT WALMART,... I was in a hurry on time, and I wasn't able to go to walmart at that point, .. so I bought the pajamas anyway,... but I won't be making any special trip to go to this thrift store instead of other ones in the area.... like...
Read moreI visit this store every now and again I usually don't have any issues but today I was profiled. The older guy, the one with the foul breath closely monitored me when I went over to the electronics section. I was looking at a subwoofer and he literally came over & watched me, not offering any assistance but just staring at me with the item in my hand as if it's a million dollar piece of antique. I felt very uncomfortable so to ease the tension I decided to ask him if they can test the subwoofer so I can make sure it works. Just like this dude I wasn't born in America but I'm not even going to harbour the thought of maybe it's because of the colour of my skin. I just want to put the word out there. Mr foul breath If you're the owner sir remember it's a "thrift store", fueled by "donations" unless you decide to carry a few new items &...
