Me and my husband were so excited to try this new Ethiopian Restaurant but were sorely disappointed. The menu we were given had all of the pricing blocked out. They said dishes were a couple of dollars more than what was on the menu. We asked for a menu with pricing and was provided one, but then asked for a specific price for the veggie platter and she said $12 or $13???? Which is it??? Mind you NO ONE ELSE was dining except 2 men at the bar. Made our order and the portion size was for a child. Just could not believe it. Also was served beets which wasn’t part of the dish on the menu and the waitress said it should have been…??? WHAT??? The food was so under seasoned that I requested salt, it was awful. Please do better. I support small black owned businesses but meet me half way PLEASE! I would not recommend...

The woman who took my order was extremely helpful and proud of what they had to offer. I had some idea of what I wanted to try and she helped me narrow things down. She also recommended the house-made wine. The food arrived quickly, and everything was excellent. The meat was well spiced and flavorful without being overly hot. Of the veggie sides that came with my order, the beets and the cabbage were definitely the stars. I will most definitely be back and will be bringing some friends with me. This place is a gem and deserves as much business as they can handle without losing their charm or their quality. Next time I will remember to take photos...

It was packed with flavor and just enough spice to enhance the dish, but not so much as to make it painful to eat. The sauce was a beautiful slightly sweet tomato based sauce packed with unique spices and flavor that danced on the tongue. Floating in the dish came one chicken drumstick with meat that fell off the bone and a hard boiled egg. The perfect amount to both fill me up and have a little leftover for tomorrow’s lunch. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone interested in exploring Ethiopian cuisine...
