I'm starting to believe no Great Clips stylist actually have a cosmetology license. I'm absolutely done and will never return. Every location I've ever gone to has butchered my hair. I just went today and gave them front, side and back pics of the haircut I wanted, I even asked "can you do this? if not I can wait and go somewhere else." And I was told "i CaN dO iT".... and I should have known better. I was only getting the back and sides shaved and wanted to keep the rest of my length. The shave i got was exactly what I specified that I did NOT want. Then I get home and right before I jumped in the shower I pulled the top up just to learn the line in the back is jacked up and crooked. I called their corporate office and I am currently waiting on the owner to contact me so I can get a full refund. I am sick and tired of paying for haircuts that I have to come home and fix myself. This can't be fixed. I just have to let it grow and find me a BARBER to do my hair cause these so called "stylist" suck! If you're pulling randos off the street to butcher peoples hair you should be charging $5 a cut, not $20. Great Clips is the reason I'm terrified to visit a different salon with higher prices. If I paid $90 for this butchered chop I would lose my mind. Great Clips should just go out of business. I have never gotten a good haircut. I always go in knowing I'm gonna have to come home and fix it. There's no fixing this until it grows back. I want every dollar I paid back. I could have did this at home for free. I was trying to avoid this so I stupidly went to Great Clips and got it anyways. I. Want. My. Money. Back. I give 0 stars, not the 1 star I'm forced to give. Be warned people. I will let a blind person cut my hair before I ever step foot inside a Great Clips again. You definitely don't live up to the name. There's nothing great about getting your...
Read moreA horrible experience at Cosgray location. I checked in online and when my turn came, I visited along with my Dad. JENNIFER (refused to share her Last Name) was an employee who attended me. She was so rude, her body language was so arrogant as if I made a wrong choice to be there for my hair cut. I was asked whether I am checked in, I said Yes, furthermore she asked whats your name, I said my last name as Patel. Then she asked, how many people? At this point I would admit I may did not understood her question and replied with me and him (my dad) but I was calm to answer her question. Thats where she was mad on me like, WHO ARE THOSE TWO PEOPLE? With no eye contact and definitely sounding so rude. I was still calm and said this is my name and my Dads name. I have no idea what in the world she asked me the same question, how many people and what are the names? And she arrogantly turned over Kiosk POS towards me and it was so insulting to me and my Dad to go through this in front of other people who were watching this. I refused to do a haircut and left the place. I came back again, just to find her name so that I can report this issue to great clips customer service. I am a big time customer with Great clips and so do my family memebers. I didn't expected such treatment and one being working in this industry, how can you treat your customers like that? I would urge people not to go to great clips and I will spread the word of mouth to all I know and would request to ignore this lady to work as well GC. I am sure Jennifer is an tenured employee and she might be a rotational employee working at different locations. I was personally hurt and I hope no one should ever be treated like this. GREAT CLIPS: I would request you to please investigate on this matter and take an action against her. I hope nobody else have to go...
Read moreI discovered toward the end of my haircut that the barber was new to cutting hair… When she made two mistakes cutting my hair, she solicited help from the woman sitting in a nearby chair, reading a magazine. I then gave some suggestions about the mistakes she made. The assisting woman (maybe a manager?) said I could fix the poorly cut area “with some product” and I suggested I would’ve appreciated knowing the new person was new so I could choose to take that risk or not, to which the assisting woman said “well she has to learn somehow,” referring to the person that was practicing on my head. I nicely said I understand but that my anxiety was high. I was charged full price for this person learning on my head and the not great haircut I was now wearing. I’ve been a Great Clips customer for a long time and this is the first time I’ve experienced this. It’s a shocking system and response that I should be obliged to pay for someone’s education rather than for a service of consistent quality. I wish the woman learning the best. I won’t be revisiting this store and I’ll be a more cautious consumer to ask about experience before I sit down (I shouldn’t have to do that awkward thing...
