I stumbled upon Habibi Cafe & Sweets in Hilliard, Ohio, thanks to a TikTok post that had me instantly craving their decadent waffles and Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries. The pictures alone had me SOLD—I just had to try it for myself!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth by Khalid, the owner, who was beyond welcoming. I told him I found the cafe through TikTok, and since it was my first time, he happily walked me through the menu. The atmosphere? Relaxing and inviting, with beautiful Arabic trinkets and plenty of seating—perfect for a cozy dine-in experience.

Since I was on the go, I took my order to indulge at home, and let me tell you… I was not ready for how amazing everything was!

I got the Habibi Special Waffles—fluffy, perfectly cooked waffles loaded with fresh strawberries, bananas, and blueberries, drizzled with Nutella, pistachio cream, and peanut butter, and topped with crushed pistachios. It wasn’t overly sweet—just the perfect balance of flavors in every bite!

And then, the Dubai Chocolate-Covered Strawberries—absolute heaven. Fresh, juicy, sweet strawberries covered in Nutella and pistachio cream, then topped with delicate kataifi for that extra crunch. It was like a luxurious dessert dream come true!

Came here for the first time and will keep coming back! There's plenty of parking in the plaza, a decent amount of seating but would love to see them eventually expand. The atmosphere is welcoming and lively, and cafe is very cute.

We got the Iced Chai, Hot Toasted Marshmallow Latte, and Pistachio Waffle. The Chai is delicious, it has a kick of spice and perfectly sweet. The latte was also very good, sweet, and made well. The pistachio waffle was a bubble waffle, covered in pistachio and Nutella gooey goodness. Everything was made well and delicious! I will definitely be back to try other waffles and their crepes.

The owners are incredibly nice! They checked on us multiple times and asked how everything was. They were so kind and attentive.

This is a great spot for desserts, coffee, and a quick treat. It's a good place for small groups, casual dates, a pick me up, or a delicious treat! I will definitely be back and suggest you should...

So allow me to preface. I visit coffee shops all the time. This one I had to drive 30 minutes for, which is not an issue. However they do not carry half and half, not sure why the embargo on that. The late i ordered scalded me, and my only flavoring was honey, because i desired to taste the coffee itself. One of the worst coffes I've had. I don't think they're used to making lattes at all. The staff was really nice and all smiles but I'm sorry that can't carry a coffee shop to success. If you want my honest opinion, unless you want a crepe avoid this place.
