Oktoberfest was a fun new expe8rence for my family this year. We took our 6 year olds and they had as much fun as we did. The two food halls ere nice for options of items to choose from, and while we didnt get a chance to go to the market hall, it was on our to do list.
The best part however were the inflatables for the kids. There were 4 well maintained inflatables near the picnic tables for kids to play on. They also had attendants that helped keep time limited for the kids so no on hogged each one. They also had a crafts table that had the best attendant. It was so much fun for the while family for a nice 3 to 4 hours...
Read moreOverall, I had a great experience at Oktoberfest but there are some heavy price tags to food/beverage, there also isn’t a whole lot to actually do there other than watch the performances or walk around the vendor stalls. If you’re wanting beer, there are only 4-5 options and they’re the same at each stall. I was hoping there would be more variety. The food was also extremely expensive. Read moreIt was very disappointing and didn’t have a lot of German music, German vendors, German activities, German foods, other than Schmitz, Location was good, but needed more German influenced vendors and activities. As one of the original South end German families, it was very disappointing. They could’ve done so much more by representing the German culture. With contacting the German car club, the German dog club, and bringing in German toys, German crafts. Could have had the beer boot drinking contest, cream, puff eating contest.
