Dr. Salibi performed surgery on my husband after his stomach cancer caused a bowel blockage 6 months after he had a total gastrectomy. Not only had the cancer returned but it had spread and I had a lot of questions. I had my own health issues over a decade ago meeting many Doctors from Columbus to the Cleveland Clinic. I can 100% tell you, you can not beat Dr. Salibi's bedside manner! He not only addressed all the questions regarding my husbands health but would call me at home if I couldn't be at the hospital when he visited each morning. He was very patient with me, very kind, answered every single question I had and you could tell he understood what we were facing and sympathized with what we were going through. He was the only Doctor who was honest with us on what the future held for my husband. He was terminal and had just months to live. Some people like to sugar coat the truth but I am the opposite and this is where Dr. Salibi really gained my respect. He told us to start preparing to have those end of life conversations in December 2023. Unfortunately, 6 months later the cancer returned again and my husband was pretty much in the hospital for six straight weeks. Even though surgery was not an option, Dr. Salibi did not hesitate to step back in and offer assistance where he could. He tried to help my husband understand that nothing else could be done for him. When my husband did pass I contacted his office to let him know and I received a call from him a few days later offering his condolences. Hands down one of the best Doctor's I have ever come across. Down to earth, honest and sympathetic and a great surgeon. Those are hard qualities to find in a Doctor. How he treated us and cared for my husband after emergency surgery through the following 6 months I will never forget. I would never hesitate to refer him to family and friends after our experience with him during one of the most difficult times we...
Read moreMy sister went to him with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. He told us… we need to do chemo first, because most people aren’t strong enough to do chemo after surgery! We took him for his word. After months of chemo treatments, my sister didn’t respond to the treatment. He had her go through more chemo and radiation, without good results! My thoughts are, find a different doctor. One that will treat you outside of the box!! If he’s your...
Read moreDr. Salibi is the best! He has a great ‘bedside manner’ and listens to what and how the patient feels! He was willing to take on my case knowing it would be challenging. A lot of testing occurred prior to surgery to ensure a good outcome. I would definitely...
