Get chips & salsa when sat down

Avocado Rollitos ($9.49) - pretty good! No complaints here. 2 full rollitos cut in half for 4 pieces. A light appetizer. Served with lettuce and ranch.

Flautas ($11.29) - 4 decent sized flautas. Choice of steak and chicken (I got 2 of each). Pretty good! Red sauce on them tho? Not advertised on menu but it was okay.

Tacos De Carne Asada ($11.59) - build your own steak tacos. Thought I was getting premade tacos but I didn't mind! Very good steak. Got flour tortillas and would have liked corn but my fault for not asking!

Burro Grande ($12.59) - pretty big burrito. The steak is $12.59, can get chicken, carnita, and shrimp for different prices. Comes with a great queso cheese on top.

Kids menu: pizza & fries ($6.19) - pizza wasnt yjr hottest and not homemade but I mean, it was for a 1yo so I didn't mind. Fries were hot and crunchy.

Waiter was nice and was very patient with us while we got through their extensive menu. Hostess that sat us was busy and fast at sitting using down. Food was given very fast (and hot) tho their outdoor patio was packed and inside was filling fast, over 5 delivery orders waiting on drivers too! 7/16/24...Here for lunch I had 2 shredded chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. My husband had a crunchy beef taco, beef burrito with rice and refried beans. Our server Maritza was very pleasant and helpful their menu is huge! Great portions for the money I have leftovers to take home. We enjoyed our lunch! Great patio seating too!!

2/25/24.... Quite a different system here compared to the last time. When you arrive and seated the hostess gives you the chips and salsa. Your server gets drinks and appetizer. Then a young man delivered our food. I have coupons so we came for lunch. I had the enchiladas supreme it has 4 enchiladas bean, chicken, ground beef and a cheese all were very good 👍 my husband had steak chimi with queso cheese, rice and refried beans 😋. Our server was nice and helpful! We both enjoyed our lunches! A coupon always helps a lot these days 🤑 Saved $6.00 on $30.00 check 😁

My husband and I first visit to El Vaquero resturant, was because my daughter and son-in-law was taking us out to lunch. We went to a resturant that shall be nameless! We waited for over 45 minutes to be seated, because their were 5 people in our party, they were short staff, instead of putting a table together, they kept seating people with a party of 2- 4 people who came after us. So after 45 mins. My son-in-law said bump this! So he took us to El Vaquero and I'm glad he did! The staff was freindly, freindly enviorment! But the food, OMGoodness😲😲 !!!! 😋😋😋😋 it was not just authentic, but was totally delicious and not enough words to discribe how good it was. Only we went back 4 times in a months period! 2 times in Pickerington, Oh and the last 2 times off Olentangy River Rd. Columbus and BTW (the manger there was awesome!) Every server we've had was patient in explaining the menu items and very attentive when it came to serving us. We are not one to go out to restaurants much because I love to cook and can make a mean advacado dip myself 👩‍🍳 But for now on,...
