The UPS Store — Local services in Columbus

Hi! I have been going into the UPS store in New Albany for years. Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Today was the first day that I have left my house to go to any store since the stay at home order in Ohio due to COVID-19. I had my mask on and was confident that I would not be in any danger at such a good establishment. NOT a single employee at the store was wearing a mask and all five of the employees were standing right next to each other. The separation marked on the floor was arms length (marked on the floor). What is the matter with you people? The rules are clearly stated on the Ohio government page about how businesses can stay open during this pandemic and be safe. Don't you care about your employees and customers? Your mask protects me. My mask protects you. I was wearing a mask! None of you were wearing a mask. The only reason I was in the store was to drop off a box to return to Amazon so that I did not have to pay return postage. Our experiences here were great until our bank account was compromised and the paper trail led directly back to documents that were scanned just two hours earlier at this location and harvested. Filed a police report and a identity theft case with the Federal Trade Commission. Don't ever copy, print, or scan anything here that contains any piece of personal information unless you enjoy spending your entire day calling every financial institution and account holder you have, talking to the police, and filing credit alerts with all the major credit bureaus. I asked for the cheapest possible way to get a skateboard in a package to get ready to ship. I even just asked for a paper wrap. The guy at the store proceeded to take 10 minutes to industrially wrap my item with multiple layers of cardboard and bubble wrap. After 10 minutes of my time wasted I was charged 10 dollars for a packing job I did not need but it wasn't like I can ask for it to be unpacked. The weight was changed from the packing too much that I needed a new shipping label for ups which cost me more money when I finally got to ups which was only a few minutes before they closed since I took so much time at this UPS store.
