I’ve been to this salon twice before and I’ve had both pedicure and the manicure where you’re dipped in the color. The manicure was amazing but when they were filing my feet the person was busy talking with their associate next to them and filed clear up the back of my heal and made it bleed. It wasn’t just a small bit of blood either it continued to bleed the entire time I was there. No apology, no discount, nothing. So I went in today thinking I’d give it another chance. I had a special type of nail done out in Phoenix that aren’t acrylic or pink & whites it’s done with a gel. This isn’t shellac or gel color it’s the actual nail that is a gel liquid base. The girl argued with me and said I had powder acrylics I tried to explain that they weren’t. (I’m in my mid 40’s and have had my nails done for years, I know the difference between acrylic or pink & whites compared to this other product.) The girl went and got what I’m assuming was the owner or manager and she knew what I was talking about but explained they don’t carry that product and she recommend just a rebase/fill with the pink & white with a gel color put on top. I said that sounded fine. The first tech then continued with my nails. They do look very nice but she was so rude while doing them I was shocked. Then after I asked her what the name of the manager was (I thought I’d maybe just go to her directly in the future) but the tech refused to tell me her name! Told me I had to go ask her myself! I was speechless. I’ve never been treated so rudely. I was nice about the nails, complimented her when I saw the final product but didn’t care for her attitude toward me which is why I asked for the managers name for future visits. Based on these couple of experiences I won’t be going back. Too bad because the final product did look good and the salon is clean but I can’t believe how rude this young tech was. There are a lot of options for nails in the Reunion and Brighton area. I’d recommend they school there young techs on politeness and...
Read moreWarning!!! The worst experience of my life!!! I have been getting my nails done for 3 years through diff nail shops decided to go to main st nails totally regret it! Went there 3 times the first time I went everything was fine second time I went I went to get a broken nail fixed which only was a couple days later. Third time I went was about the time to get a rebase but I went because the same finger nail broke which was the middle finger that's why I know it was due to this shop that turned my nail GREEN!!!! I looked it up online and it says that its due to NON STERILIZED TOOLS!! I went back to the nail shop to let them know I was upset about that and want to remove the rest of my nails. Nail tech insisted that I should do shellac to cover it up and that it will help my nails "grow faster" dumbest thing to say in this situation id say.. n e ways I kept saying no so finally she removed them and what got me was they didn't ever show any concerns and just said yeah water got into your nails that's why that happened then charged me $10.00 to take my nails of which I thought was bull! I was trying to be nice I could've went off on them about the situation they didn't even take care of the problem and still charged me! The LEAST they could've done for me was just take them off without charging me! I had to go to a dermatologist to get a treatment for my NOW GREEN NAIL!!! Not even talking about cost of having to do that!!! UNBELIEVBLE!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!! AND I DEFINITLEY DON'T WANT THIS HAPPENING TO ANYONE ELSE SO PLEASE BE VERY...
Read moreI have been here a few times and usually it's good. However, this last time is certainly THE LAST time. I was there last Thursday and my natural nails were pretty long. I told him I wanted to keep the length and chose my shellac color. The man dremeled the color off which made my nails really thin and flimsy. Then he got file happy and I lost over half of my length which made me very sad. At this point I have short weak and flimsy nails. By Saturday, one breaks, Sunday another tears, the color is bubbled and chipping. Not to mention my rhinestone already fell off. I call to see if they can fix them. Van said yes ,come in we'll fix them. I told her they needed something to make them strong and she recommended the dip. I asked how much she said 42 but dont worry about it so I agree. Another gal is very sweet and fixed them. They still charge 36 which frankly shocks me since they were merely fixing the job they did wrong. So now I have paid 82 with tips and have much shorter weaker nails than when I walked in. Terrible customer service. There were nice about taking my money. If anything they should've charged me the difference between the shellac and the dip, not a new total. So disappointing. My family and I will be choosing a new salon. No sweat, they are a dime a dozen! You didnt lose 1 customer, you lost 5. It's too bad, we thought we found...
