Payless Foods — Local services in Compton

I dont like coming here at all so I don't anymore after an incident with guy who was bagging my groceries. I walked in with things I bought at CVS mind it was prescription medication and CVS brand items and I had not been told nothing by no one until this kid decides to look in my reusable bag and tells me to pay for those items. Hello are you CVS? Because I'm sure only CVS sells CVS branded items.

The security guard saw me walk in with my items and I'm paying for what I have in the grocery cart. The cashier just looks and doesnt even apologize when this kid is rude and looking through my items. If anyone had an issue it would have arose before I bought a good amount of your overpriced items.

I had been here before to this store always greeted with a smile by security and by the nice employees.

Yes this store is overpriced. Reason why I always made the trek to food 4 less. The meat seems sketchy and the bread always has flies. But I only would buy non perishables for that same reason.

This experience was the main reason I steer away. They won't miss my money and that's fine but it's unacceptable for an employee to look through someones things and ask me to pay for items that are...

I come here only when I really don’t want to drive to NorthGate in Compton. I went to get ingredients for guacamole and I love using purple onions. Well like always, all the purple onions have gone bad and they are still selling them like that. So disappointing. They get a lot of foot traffic because of the location but man you can never know with the produce they sell. The two stars are for the cucumbers and the Coronas I bought. The only two good items they had. The avocadoS where ok, the cilantro was ok, and the white onions was what ever better than the purple. I just can’t believe they want to sell...

Rating this market a 1 star rating because I went to this market yesterday to purchase food items and alcoholic beverages. The cashier that helped me was named Eliana register 001 Cashier 1004 , Eliana was extremely rude , she asked my ID very aggressively didn’t allow me to place the rest of my items I had in my hand down without saying “ I’m not going to ring you up till I see your ID” MGR Sergio it would be greatly appreciated if Eliana is talked to in regards having rude costumer service. I’ve never had such bad service in many years I’ve been coming here . Nor have I been pressured for my ID...
