Oak Grove Plaza — Local services in Concord

10/26/17 This is a killer shopping complex and I’m blessed to live within walking distance of it. Commonly referred to as the Trader Joe’s shopping plaza, Oak Grove Plaza has way more than just this wonderful, specialty grocery store. Pet Food Express and Baskin Robbins sit on either side of TJs. On the Treat side of the Plaza there’s a CitiBank and a recently renovated Round Table Pizza & Pub Clubhouse. Here you’ll also find Flying Colors Comics & Other Cool Stuff, and Cork & Bottle liquor store.

Behind these stores sit a fitness gym of some sort, Family Spa where terrific massages are offered on the cheap, and LaunderMutt dog groomers (where our furry friend is visiting for his first time today!)

On the Oak Grove side of the Plaza there’s a burger place, Jimmy John’s sandwiches, Chipotle, a sports store, Verizon store, Postal Annex, Wells Fargo, and a sushi restaurant. Peet’s Coffee and Captain’s Chest Lounge are in the corner over here, next to a barber shop, shoe repair, and camera/video store. Captain’s has karaoke a couple nights a week and great bartenders! I’m probably missing a few businesses but hopefully highlighted most of them!

This plaza is awesome and the regular, on-foot security guard patrolling is friendly. It’s clean, there’s lots of parking, and it’s well-lit and safe...

OMG one of my number one go to places when I'm in town. Love love love this store. Conscientious about the wait time employees very conscientious of customer service. Cashiers are so accommodating for getting you in and out of this store not to hold up lines outside. Very helpful staff not just pointing you to an aisle if in need of an item but literally assisting you finding that item immediately. This has happened several times upon my visits. It is not a shopping mall. It is a small neighborhood shopping center anchored by CorknBottle, Round Table, Flying Colors and Baskin Robbins at one end and Captains Chest, Ozura, Wells Fargo and Peets at the other. Trader Joe's is the perfect quick stop to pick up something needed to prepare dinner and Mine's is a great place to eat out on the sidewalk.
