Breaktime Tea - Concord — Restaurant in Concord

New to the area, I saw this place while on a run with my boyfriend! We have been craving boba recently and just knew it would satisfy us both.

I ordered the jasmine green milk tea, 50% sweetness, boba and lychee jelly. My boyfriend got the black sugar boba milk.

My thoughts: so perfect. It's rare that a jasmine milk tea actually tastes like jasmine tea and not just some vague green tea. This one tastes exactly like jasmine made with real leaves! And getting it 50% sweetness really brings out that tea flavor with the smidge of sweetness that any tea needs for me to enjoy. Plenty of toppings as well. I dislike when places are stingy on how much topping to give. Understandable more at night time when they run out of toppings, though. But I appreciated the even amount of toppings given! Really enjoying this drink after that run.

My boyfriend's thoughts: it's very good but very sweet. He says that's his fault though since he got a sugary drink, one that's sweeter than most because of the brown sugar. He says he enjoys the boba pearls a bit more solid and I have to agree.

But at this day and age I care more about the tea (I'm gettin older🥲) so I really like this place! Definitely will be back when I come to visit near...

Reviews looked good decided to check them out I ordered about $80 bucks worth of food and Boba which was the only good thing out of this place. Seriously the garlic fries with cheese is crazy for ten bucks wich I wouldn't mind spending but with all honesty they were trash as well as the gyzoa or dumplings weren't good either ten bucks. 5pc chicken wings were the tiniest I've ever seen 10 bucks. I don't see how they have 5star Reviews I'm really disappointed that I spent 80 on this. I tried one in Concord as well and that was just as no good...

12/18/22 I came in here to support the business for it's grand opening and I was looking forward to getting a warm green milk tea to warm myself up as it was a cold cold day. I get there to order my drink and I ask for the drinks to be hot. I saw the worker grab two plastic cups and said that I asked for hot drinks. She explained to me that the machine was broken. She did offer to lessen the ice. I asked her to not put ice in at all. The drinks were prepared fairly quickly. I still can't believe that the machine to make the drinks...
