It’s very rare that I write reviews. Only when I’m immensely impressed or horrifically disappointed do I feel the need to share my experience with others. This time is definitely an instance of the latter. I called ahead to have a medium pizza to go. I was told it would take about 15 minutes to make. I arrived on time to a completely empty store, and two employees standing and talking in the back. I waited about 5 minutes, before I got the attention of the two girls working so one of them could ring me up. The one girl who came out then went back to get my pizza, and returned shortly saying they had forgotten to take my pizza out of the oven so it had burned. They offered to make me a new one and said it should take about 15-20 minutes.
While I was waiting, two gentlemen came in and were left waiting at the counter as well. I overheard their conversation and discovered they were simply waiting to order drinks. I chimed in and said that they might have a faster, easier (and probably cheaper) time if they went next door to the liquor store. After ten minutes of waiting and only once being called to from the back, “We’ll be with you in a second!” the two left. Just as they were leaving though, one of the girls, a girl named Paige, came out to finally take their order. When they said it was alright, that they were going to just go next door, Paige scoffed and said, “Alright, whatever!” and turned to go back into the kitchen.
I got her attention though before she went back, and asked if I could have a plate for salad while I was waiting for my pizza. She simply said “sure”, and went to get me the plate. When I reached out for the plate however, she slid it to me from across the counter and called back from over her shoulder, “There ya go.”
After another 10 minutes I finally got my pizza with nothing more than, “Your pizza’s ready.” This has to have been the worst experience I have ever had at any pizza restaurant anywhere. Round Table may claim to be “the last honest pizza”, but because of the service I received from a light brown hair girl named Paige and dark haired girl named April, today was honestly the last time I’ll be going to the Round Table...
Read moreWe had the best experience at the Round Table Pizza on Treat Blvd, Concord, CA store # 0306 on 19th of Nov 2011. We had hosted our child's Birthday Party there and we received excellent Customer Service experience exceeding our expectations. There was ample of space for the guests and kids to play and have fun, complete with the video game arcade and face painting. The place was clean, the food tasted good and the service was quick & prompt. Our guests greatly enjoyed the pizza and the size of the room since the children had freedom to run around & play games unlike other places where there are so many restrictions & limited space. We would especially like to thank and acknowledge the awesome customer service skill executed by Jesus, the manager and his team and our server Amy. Without the kind help of Jesus, this could not have been possible. He listened and carried out all our requests efficiently and promptly. Jesus did not budge to extend his time and attention in rendering us great customer service and helping us making our party a wonderful experience! Our guests enjoyed the party and the place and were encouraged to host future parties at Round Table Pizza, as for us we are spreading our wonderful & fun experience at Round Table Pizza among our friends so that they can get an opportunity to benefit from this impeccable...
Read moreBe careful coming here for your lunch breaks, I don’t recommend. Second time waiting for a very long time to get my PERSONAL (which is the smallest size) pizza. First time it took a while but was fresh so was forgiven. Today I went in on my lunch and after 30 minutes I went up to ask how much longer when a woman said she was looking “all over” for me which isn’t true. I saw her pass many times, I told her where I was in which she responded “you should tell us where you’re going to sit”.. I didn’t know they had assign seating and I had to tell them my exact location. I was not hiding — we were in the very same building. She would come up with some other excuse and I would correct her (respectfully) clearly she got annoyed (but over their mistake, nothing I did) so she went to the back and made a nice gentlemen come give me my refund. I could tell she doesn’t handle any type of communication well. How could she be upset when I’m the customer who wasted their whole lunch waiting for a personal pizza just to not eat and have to go back to work? I asked for a refund because the pizza was more on the soggy/soft side and my lunch was coming to an end. Very upset and disappointed with...
