Marked this place as “Wanted to go”, as promoted by Yelp, and got disappointed in most aspects. Design and deco are very plain and basic. Nothing stands out to remember. Simple tables, and seating. Very little authentic deco on the wall. Restaurant have to go through the folding kitchen door, passing by the dirty dishes to the place, that doesn’t even have paper towels to dry hands with. Ordered Thai Table Rolls, Tom Kha and Basil Chicken with rice. Food came with great delay (over 30 mins) with us being the only customers. Soup and main dish ware well over spiced and over salted. Out 22 month girl didn’t even touch it. Basil Chicken had some strong spice added that killed even the basil flavor. Logan did a good and polite job serving us, and next guy came in for a pickup. Overall, one time stop with no will to come back.

Dined in on a Saturday night, past would-be rush hour for dinner. Service was good, and food was tasty, but portion sizes and prices don’t match at all. Prices are already a bit higher than other local Thai restaurants, but the portions are also smaller, making it feel especially feel like you are not getting your money’s worth. We ordered the pad kee mao with veggies, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and mango sticky rice. The pad kee mao was on the smaller side, and the pineapple fried rice only had 4 chunks of pineapple. But the worst was probably the mango sticky rice—there’s a picture here on from a year or so ago that’s much bigger than what we got, and unfortunately set our expectations. The rice was a bit hard and not very hot either.

In my opinion, great part of successfully running a restaurant is its hospitality. I met James who’s the owner, I think. Also, I was greeted by a smily chef Tyler and a girl name Claire. Everyone was super friendly. It was my first time today and I had a take out order of a chicken coconut soup and a beef soup. Both soups were well prepared and not too spicy. I waited only about 10 minutes. I was impressed with their small but very nicely done dining area. I’ll definitely return as I’d like to try their fried rice dishes. The only minus for me is I’m not crazy about serving hot take out food using plastic containers.

I am not one to leave negative reviews- as we all are entitled to have an off day. Our choosing Thai Table was based off reviews and I feel that it's only right to share our experience. We walked in to find beautiful decor but the AC was broken or off and it was very hot inside. We stood waiting to be greeted for quite some time- the young guy was running around - when he finally greeted us he said he needed to check with the kitchen since they closed in 30 minutes. We were understanding and said totally okay if you can't accommodate but were told it's okay to sit.

When we finally sat- we gave our order and asked for the Thai spice tray- the guy said that they had it but not much left. He brought over literally 1 tbsp of dry thai chilis left in the jar and a sad scraped empty jar of the red chili sauce. This was ann interesting start to our dining experience; but was trying to keep an open mind. The food began to come out - around 30 minutes after we ordered and was served in to go containers- when we asked about it - the guy replied that their dishwasher couldn't handle that many dishes so they were serving in containers for now... seemed to be a more expensive approach...and to be honest, we weren't thrilled that our hot food was being served in plastic. We usually avoid takeout so we don't have this very issue. The Tom Yum was delicious- some of the best I have had so that definitely deserves an extra star. The rest of the food took another 15ish minutes to come out. So it took about 45 minutes total to receive our whole order. The Eggplant Sauteed Dish was good. But the Thai BBQ pork was such a let down. Simply seasoned with salt and pepper and consisted of 40% fat. No marinade and reminded me of when my mother would attempt to cook pork chops as a child with not much success. Sauce on the side was a generic sweet and sour style sauce. The server left without telling any of his tables anything and the cooks came out to do their best to close down the restaurant and check everyone out. We were really hoping to find a new thai place to love- but unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences we have had. I felt like I was in an episode of Restaurant Impossible.

My suggestion for the owners: 1.I know finding part time help is tough but remember your servers are the face of your brand . Make sure they know how to help sell your business and give guests a great experience. If the air conditioner is broken maybe just letting guests know ahead of time would help with a more understanding approach. Serving food in takeout containers- hurts your business since most people order based on other tables- I would have loved to see what some of your other dishes looked like-and presentation is everything! You miss that with to go containers. Thai BBQ is one of the best dishes on the planet. With a huge credit to the marinade that the meat is grilled in. Also it's always amazing how lean those meats are typically while retaining their juiciness. Missed the mark with this somehow- not sure if the chef forgot the sauce but item was not as described. Food timing and communication is everything. If food is going to take 45 minutes to come out- Definitely always let your guests know ahead of time or any updates are much appreciated. Bravo on the...
