The Vanilla Shine is a must try if you go. Unlike most other vanilla flavored spirits hit you in the face like "BAM VANILLA", This one has a very deep flavor profile. It starts off with a nice grain flavor that his base spirit works hard to achieve, and then the middle brings more grains around while the vanilla slowly works in and leaves off last a nice subtle vanilla taste in your mouth. Simply amazing. I would love to taste one of their barrel aged batches finished with the same vanilla process. We had an awesome experience here. They clearly have a passion for the spirits they make. The owner CJ was friendly and informative, made for a great time! We got a flight of 5 samples, and really loved them all, hard to pick a favorite! I like that he does not filter any of the fruit out of his moonshine cocktails and uses good quality ingredients. What an amazing place and the owners are the nicest folks! Yes, the highlight is the delicious product they make (Pro tip: You must try the Honey Shine!!) but the whole welcoming package makes this a must see for anyone in, or passing through, the 603!

Also, if you have any doubt whether this is the real deal or not, I brought my friend from Kentucky when I visited and his first comment after tasting it was "Yup. I could definitely bring this stuff back to my people" HA!
