If you are looking for a cozy, neighborhood bar and eatery, The Concord Grill is your place. This restaurant is bustling with people, and filled with the sounds of friendly conversations and laughter. The fare here is to be consumed for enjoyment. Probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a health enthusiast. There is a deep-fried Twinkie on the menu as well as every kind of hamburger you could imagine. Also, there are more traditional home cooked entrees like meatloaf and fried catfish. I had the deep-fried pork tenderloin sandwich french fries. The flavor of the pork is kind of lost with the breading and deep-frying. My fries were slightly over seasoned, but still tasty. For dessert, I had the carrot cake. The cake appeared to be made from scratch with visible shreds of carrots and coconut. The texture of the cake reminded me of the 1950s before the "box cakes" became prominent. It was delightful! There are mounted televisions for game nights. There is a bar area with a few stools. The overall atmosphere is appealing. Free parking is available with a paved area behind the restaurant and a few spaces in front. Dining here is a good night out with family and friends.

Went to this place the first time about 2 weeks ago and had such an amazing experience that I brought my whole family back for my birthday dinner. Judy was our server, and I can't tell you how amazing she was. She not only answered all of my annoying questions but also made me feel like I was at home. She was fast efficient, and the perfect does of sweet without being fake. I have told everyone I know to come here because it's just that great of an experience. The food is every bit as good. With the million burgers to choose from, I must admit it was a little overwhelming but literally makes me want to keep coming back so I can try them all. I had the whiskey burger the first time, and the spinach burger the second, and both were perfect. The only thing I would suggest is to add a Thai turkey burger, but that would have been just a me choice, probably. Thank you for being above and beyond in a time when customer service is a thi g of the past. Also, if you are not a fan of peppers, ask them to only lightly season your fries. I did that the second time and liked them much better.

Yesterday i had the Jalapeño Popper Burger (yum!). Last month a group of friends went for dinner. My sister got the Spud Burger and i got the garlic Aioli burger. There’s no way I’m gonna be able to go through that whole list… But if I ever go back, which I probably will, I’m gonna try another one of the starred ⭐️ 🍔 burgers. My reviews for yesterday it was beautiful outside my friend and I sat out there and I got my jalapeño popper burger. She got out of chicken sandwich. We both laughed ate and had wonderful service. I don’t remember the waitress’s name, but she was super friendly and very attentive. Other half of my burger in the fridge right now which I’m going to eat shortly. I’ve never heard of a place until last month when a friend suggested we go there and we all enjoyed our dinner then As well. It’s hard to get Good service These days, but both times have been a joy.

I'm not sure if we went on an off day but I was definitely not impressed.

For a place that has so many options on their burger menu I would have expected that they at least knew the basics of how to cook a burger correctly. I ordered my burger medium and it came out halfway to cremated. On top of that the bun was somehow cold and hard as a rock. Aside from the toppings it was completely devoid of any seasoning and flavor and had the consistency of week old meatloaf. I managed to chew my way through a little less than half of it before I tapped out. The fries weren't much better unfortunately as they clearly did not have the oil in the fryer hot enough, but more on that in a minute.

We got our toddler the mini corn dogs and fries from the kids menu. I wish I would have checked his food before he started eating. The corn dogs which were fried were just sopping with grease. I understand that fried foods are greasy but they should not be soaking up grease to the point of being soggy. Again indicative that their fryer oil was not hot enough.

My wife got the chicken alfredo which was the best of all of our food but still just bland and underwhelming. And the bar wasn't set very high by the other two dishes honestly.

I would have asked for the food to be replaced but we didn't have the time to wait for them to make more food and I'm really not keen on asking for replacement food. Especially when it was so bad the first time around.

All in all the people there were nice and everything was clean. A little off putting to have what looks like an old dish towel as a napkin but they were clearly washed so no big deal. I see copious reviews singing high praise for this place which was the reason we went and it was a really big let down. As much as I would like to give them a second chance it was just too...

Overwhelmingly mediocre food. Dont get me wrong I enjoy good pub fare. But the menu here is huge, too huge to do everything fresh. The fried Potatoes and onions had no onions and were undercooked. Sloppy Joe was utterly underwhelming. Sons burger looked and tasted frozen. Fries were bland and fried from frozen. The prices aren't bad here and it had a nice atmosphere and good service, but the menu is much too large to have consistently good food when everything has to be frozen.

Edit for the owners response: we ate dinner and maybe we hit at a bad time since it did seem busy but everything tasted under seasoned. The potatoes had almost no salt and some werent fully cooked. Mashed potatoes were dry and bland with out much seasoning and the gravy seemed like it was made with powdered brown gravy mix and water. Sloppy Joe's werent bad just not good enough to make me want to come back in to eat them as opposed to making my own at home. Just tasted like 95% ketchup The bread it was served on seemed stale in spots and would've been better if toasted in my opinion. I love to hear that about the burgers: I would love to come back in and try em again. I would recommend cutting down your menu size and focus on doing burgers over all the other big plates. If you rush your cooks and give them a HUUGE menu to tackle your quality will suffer overall. I dont blame them at all for dropping quality when you have like 100 items on a menu. Get rid of the frozen stuff and do great fresh burgers and sides. But I would love to come back and give a burger another go! I would totally change my review if it was better than what we had today. Instead of doing a bunch of things just OK focus on doing a few simple things...

EDIT 9 DEC 2018: The owner was very responsive, corresponding via email and even sending a $50 gift card to try them out again... so we did. We arrived with a party of three around 6pm on a Friday, and had a reasonable 5-10 min wait, as to be expected on a Friday. We'd had a chance to check out a menu while waiting, so when our server arrived, we ordered drinks and food all at once. Everything good so far. After returning with drinks, our server didn't check on us for the next 20 minutes... then after another 10 minutes (over 30 total) the food arrived. The highlight of everything was the seasoned fries. Each one of our burgers was overcooked, although not as badly as last time. The medium well was definitely well done, and the two mediums were on the north side of medium well, each having just a tiny bit of pink right in the center.

ORIGINAL: Wanted to hit up a local burger place we hadn't in years, and now recall there's a good reason why it's been so long. The burger list is exhaustive, so they're bound to be good, right? Initial service was good getting drinks and the order, but after that point it was all downhill.

The appetizer of nachos took about 15 minutes to arrive, which were pretty good overall... but the topping distribution was off, with the cheese/sour cream/chili pooling in mostly one area. The burgers came about 5 minutes later before we'd finished the nachos.

Ordered my burger medium, and got a dry well done, but the fries were good. However, despite not being busy, our server did little to check in. The empty nacho bowl was never cleared until the check wad brought.

Too many other good burger places in town to be dishing out overcooked burgers and a...
