he owner is EXTREMELY prejudiced. I visit this bar often, it used to be one of my favorite places to hang out with friends due to inexpensive drinks and the option to play a variety of music on the jukebox. I visited last weekend and brought a few friends with me, and we bought drinks and my friend spent the money to play some songs. I hate that I have to mention this fact, but my friends are African-American. Our genre of choice was a few rap songs, my friend spent about $10 in music. The owner of the bar, Kenny, who was watching us on his cameras, told the bartender to turn our music down because he didn't want THAT kind of music to be played. (Mind you THAT kind of music is always being played whenever young people visit the bar) Not only did he NOT REFUND my friend, but he paid another guest to play HIS music even though he wasnt there, but he also threatened my friend that if we "bring those kind of people (black) that we would be barred from coming back." I will never give this man my money and I dont think anyone else should. He is a racist...
Read moreHorrible experience went there on a Saturday nite to meet some friends after work when I got there and was waiting people werw playing all hip hop and mainstream belligerent rap when my friend finally arrives I put some music on the joke box a lil hip hip none the less. The bartender proceeds to turn my music down completely and my friend asks why she then is pulled in the back saying the owner doesn't like hip hop at all and doesn't allow it in the bar. I proceeded to ask how come they do not use a genre block on touch turns then to prevent that and why was there no other issue when the people before me were playing some rap? Hate to be the one to play the cars but pretty sure cus im an African American man that was in a predominantly Caucasian bar but needless to say after that experience will not be coming. O yeah they didn't want to refund the money for the music they wouldn't allow me to...
Read moreWeek one of the NFL and touch tunes is blaring at this Sports Bar. Most sports I know of will play of the games over the audio system. Not this one. And the music blaring beyond loud. Call yourself a sports bar but loud heavy metal, rap... even the waitress got it. They apogized for the owner who sat at the bar in a stool, that should be for a paying customer to sit in. This bar has no food either. TJ pizza and some rye bread burger cheese mix. The blaring music isn't worth he visit on Sunday for NFL. Free popcorn or not. A good bar to visit for a beer at the end of the ight on the way home..but the no food is a thumbs down. And the blaring music on NFL Sunday is no bueno. 17 weeks you get and opening weekend you play touch tunes...
