Dollar General — Local services in Conneaut

The staff is very rude and treat their customers like they are beneath them & look down on them. The managers (including Tracy) are even worse! I seen her grab a gentleman by his arm and dragged him out of the store!!! I was very appalled by her actions and WILL NEVER shop here again. Also, the store is always messy and their shelves are NEVER stocked and the penny deals (which I know are supposed to be hush hush 🤫) are never available in that store. I’ve watched them take the products off the shelve the night before and throw them in the dumpster!!! Now WHY would they throw away a perfectly good item rather than sell it to a customer for 0.01¢?!?!🤨 WHY?! I jus can’t seem to wrap my head around it, like your employer’s paid $$$ for that product & for you to make the executive decision yourself to throw it away in the trash rather than to sell it is beyond me. Yes I get it it’s only a penny but some people out there can’t afford the nice things they want and for someone to take the chance of buying it for only a penny away from them isn’t fair in my eyes. Who are they to decide what products are to be sold, they did not pay for them out of their pocket. Pardon my language but in my heart I feel as if that is just an ASSHOLE–“ish” thing to do 😤 And something should be done about it. Sincerely, AN UN-HAPPY...

so..I have a little bone to pick with this new location dollar general. I seriously hope we can resolve this issue out of court, because to be honest, I'm not trying to let my mom take full responsibility for somebody else's slippery floor..I cant prove the management was rude, and I cant prove that the floor was slippery..but my mom left with 3 broken bones..she wasnt overreacting, and I hope anybody who thought she might of been, feels bad now..corporate was supposed to be in contact but have yet to reach her..I'm going to miss 3 months of work, same as her, to help her..we...

This dollar store feels cramped when inside. It's got boxes in the isles and checking out isn't any fun either. I don't think the employees know how to smile. I have talked to numerous people in town. Everyone complains about it and especially the staff. It's sad too, this isn't that old of a store. Most people drove a few miles out of town to the other Dollar General. But for the people who can't go out of town, don't drive, elderly or disabled it's in the center of town so they only have access...
