After a leak destroyed our floors, we were desperate for reliable advice and trusted Color Interiors in Conroe to guide us through a complete replacement. We were drawn in by their reputation and hoped they would help us make the best decision for our home. However, our experience turned into a costly disaster.
Our salesperson, Tommy, assured us multiple times that we did not need underlayment, claiming the floors would “last forever.” Although we did not hire them for installation, we repeatedly asked to confirm we were making the right choices.
Two years later, our floors began to fail. When we reached out to the manufacturer, they pointed to faulty installation, which left us feeling confused. We reached out to Color Interiors' installation manager (the only bright spot in this ordeal). He inspected the floors and confirmed our worst fear: underlayment was indeed necessary, especially for a home of our age. He even admitted that if we had consulted him from the start, this costly mistake could have been avoided.
While we accept some responsibility, we also believe that, as customers, it is reasonable to expect the professionals at a specialized store to be transparent and to guide us properly. When you buy a product, you rely on the salesperson to highlight any essential requirements, such as underlayment for flooring, that could impact your investment. We trusted Color Interiors to make sure we were not missing anything critical, and they let us down. Now, we are out $15,000 with no real support.
We feel deceived and want to caution others. Do your own research and do not rely solely on a salesperson’s word. Choose a provider who values transparency as much as they value the sale. As new homeowners, it was a costly...
Read moreAfter January’s freeze, the bonding on a portion of our tile floor wore out and the floor started tenting. A friend suggested we call Kadin Seeliger with Color Interiors in Conroe, and within two days he inspected our floors, and made some great recommendations for replacement solutions. We were impressed both with Kadin’s knowledge but also with the many high-quality selections that Color Interiors in Conroe offered. As a result, we decided to hire Kadin to GC our project. Honestly, we could not be happier.
Kadin made sure that he had all his subcontractors scheduled appropriately and in a timely manner, ensuring a quick turnaround for our family. The next week they began our floor demo and prep for our need floors. In a matter of a few hours, they had all our furnishings protected, and they installed a temporary dustless seal for our upstairs, so we were in a dust free environment while the work was underway.
We found that Kadin Seeliger and Color Interiors acted with tremendous integrity and know what is means to be a great customer service-based business. Their subcontractors are well vetted, have amazing craftmanship skills, and are very conscientious hardworking young men.
Color Interiors is indeed fortunate to have such an outstanding person as Kadin Seeliger representing them. He conducts business fairly and thinks outside the box, and he finds solutions to help his customers’ projects run smoothly.
We highly recommend Color Interiors in Conroe and Kadin Seeliger and praise them for making sure that our family was well taken care of. We love our new floors and baseboards, and highly recommend this business as the place to go to meet your flooring needs.

Read moreEverything about their sales team seems to be true when it comes to them following up with their customers. As an installer for this company the salesman I worked with was taking up on projects he obviously couldn’t fulfill. I started taking work orders that were way behind schedule. Some projects were behind as bad as 3 weeks. They expect my team and I to finish in unreasonable times. We still would meet due dates but the whole process was a mess! Customers were always very upset from the beginning because their projects were 2-3 weeks behind starting schedule. Customers went as far as offering me their contact information to take on the salesman job to let them know when and how the installation would begin and be completed. Aside from their bad salesman, the salesman would treat our team very poorly. Using unprofessional profanity to communicate, and using very offensive words to talk about his customers. This whole rodeo had to come to an end and decided we would leave this company. Please, do not bring your business here. They don’t care about their customers and ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. They could care less about your satisfaction after they got your money. They don’t respect their customers nor their installers behind closed doors. It’s a shame...
