So I went in on 12/26 to get my nails done because I was going on a trip for 3 days. When Dillon did my dip i told him that it looked very thin and I was worried it would crack. However, he assured me that my nails won’t crack and he jokingly asked me, if i work in construction, implying that unless I’m doing hard manual labor then I shouldn’t be worried. The next morning while preparing for my trip the first nail crack. Then the 2 days after that the other 3 cracked. I went back to him on 12/30 and ask if he could repair the cracked nails. However he said he was too busy , and I should come back Tuesday after new year. On my way on Tuesday I called to make sure that he was available and but someone else answered the phone and said that he is fully booked and that I should come the following day, but I an appointment that day so i had to ask to go in the day after that; they said I can come again at 6pm. On said day i went at 6pm only to be told to pick my color and wait. I waited 30 mins until he finished with someone else and he came to me with what I’m assuming is his boss/manager only to be told that they do not know how to fix my nails and they do not think that this salon is the best place for me and offered to give me back my money that I paid. So I said I’m not here for my money I want my nails fixed can someone else fix it?! I even offed to pay the difference if necessary, but they clearly was telling me never to come back there again. What customer service is this. You have a lot of customers so you are rushing to do people nails just to fill your chairs. Also, it leave me to think if they would have done this to a white woman?! I WOULD SAY THIS PLACE DISCRIMINATES!! Thankfully I found someone else to do my nails and she did...
Read moreI have been here countless times but my last visit was so bad I don't see myself coming back. Being June, I wanted to get pride nails done with very clear photos of what I wanted. I saw the young lady in the first row facing the door, closest to the pedicure chairs. She had an attitude as soon as I sat in her chair. She did not want to do the design I wanted and just kept looking at the and looking annoyed. So I changed it and asked for just a trans flag for an accent nail and asked for the bi flag for the other accent nail. I had the photos in front of her the entire time and she REFUSED to do the trans flag. No matter how many times I said the colors in order and showed her the photo (photo was 2 inches under my hand, facing her, the entire time she was painting my nails) she mixed up the colors and the order of colors. I was never rude with her, but could tell she was talking about me with her coworkers and just wanted me out of her chair. When I went to check out, I found that she charged me an extra $20 for "colors and designs". I just paid it and left because of the amount of anxiety I had at this point. I still tipped her well, but before I left I noticed she seemed much happier to have someone else in her chair.
When I got in my car, I noticed that the nail tips were not even fully glued down on some nails and I had a huge gap between my real nail and the acrylic on several fingers. I did send a message on Facebook the following day and was told I could come in to get them fixed when I was available. At this point I was too embarrassed and just decided to go elsewhere to have them taken off.
Also, I has uploaded this review before several weeks ago, but it was oddly taken down...
Read moreVisited this salon as a new resident hoping to find a reliable place for my nail care, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected.
From the start, the technician doing my nails was more focused on chatting and looking at photos with a colleague than on my nails. At one point, he hurt me with the electric file because he was so distracted. I almost had to ask him to be gentle and even had to request that he reshape a crooked nail—something that should have been done without prompting.
I was charged $40 for a fill and an additional $10 just for painting the tips, which felt excessive given the poor attention to detail. The entire process felt rushed, with little care taken in the prepping, shaping, buffing, and painting.
When I moved on to the pedicure, things didn’t improve. The bowl wasn’t filled with water, and the technician immediately started gathering gel tools without even asking what I wanted or what color I preferred. When I clarified that I didn’t want gel, the technician seemed annoyed, and the whole situation felt uncomfortable.
Finally, when I decided to skip the pedicure altogether, the technician became visibly upset and whispered to the front desk staff, who then laughed as I checked out, which was incredibly unprofessional.
I really wanted to become a regular customer, but this experience was unacceptable. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously because customers deserve better.
Nails were just okay—definitely not...
