Heather Island — Local services in Contiguous United States

I go to Heather Island for a few different reasons Publix and McDonald's are located in Heather Island starting with McDonald's around 3 to 5:30 in the morning they are very efficient and have an outstanding employee whom I call mr. Happy has great respect and have his outstanding positive outlook not only in his job but with customers and his life. If we only all would strive to even maintain his demeanor for just a few hours out of our day I think we would all find ourselves being referred to as mr. Or mrs. Happy ☺! And this goes out to management of McDonald's he's a keeper he definitely enlightens many customers days just by simply going through the drive-thru. That being said they take painstaking detail two Ensure special orders go out correctly. (this is coming from the queen of picky eaters) although the cleanliness of the floor could use a little attention I'm not sure it's the employees fault but there's something very sticky on their floor that seems to never come completely up which has almost cause me to slip and fall multiple times but when managers are told they act very quickly 2 correct the situation ! You're my favorite McDonald's if I could only afford to go there more often . Thanks for making my mornings ever so...

Dollar store I’m very disappointed to hear that this company is raising their prices and I hope this store isn’t one of the locations where prices go up otherwise I’ll find another place.

The plaza itself is clean for the most part

Publix is the best place to shop. The sandwiches from the deli are heaven.

The new smoke shop is ok their prices are like everyone else. Cool people from my area in nyc

The new plant store is also ok it’s cute didn’t bother to ask for prices.

The Chinese restaurant is the best place to eat. Great food and service

Cuban Resturant is ok but being a cook myself and a two time 5 star cookbook author i can say in critic I was disappointed to taste their Cuban sandwich even. Their Arroz Moro isn’t authentic their pastry prices are good but didn’t taste freshly made pastries didn’t have flakey crust as should. The ppl there r nice but I honestly don’t know how they still in business they hardly ever get customers. Always clean the handling of food seems to b practiced to protocol and safety regulations.

Too expensive. Keep an eye on unnecessary forms. They add up. You seem to be penalized for being retired, collection a pension and social security as these must be done on seperate forms, adding costs, especially if married couples have individual pensions. That is double the forms needed. A very bad thing living on a fixed income. Also the estimated taxes due can't be done correctly based upon your projected income. For example if you sell your house, that is calculated as part of your projected income for the next year, and is charged to you. Don't let them do it! You can do estimated taxes onlinevmore accurately, theur computer simpke plugs in figures from your previous year's tax return. With a $25 discount coupon, we, senior couple, paid about $330.00 for our simple unitemized taxes. And with inaccurate projected income come extra forms for "paying late" even if you pay all, by the end of the tax year, in December. Things are just not adequately explained.
