The owner (man) is incredibly mean! My twin came in to purchase a few wigs and we purchased hair jewelry as well to cheer her up. The owner accused me of not paying 1.99 for a stupid hair clip that i did purchase. Instead of me complaining i repurchased the item and bought something else. As soon as i pay, this man starts asking me “why i look at him like that”… I told him what do you mean I’m not doing anything to you. Yesterday, myself and a white female customer were the only customers in Aja. The older man (owner?) asked the white female customer if she needed any help. She was searching for hair beads. He never asked me (African American female) if I needed any help. He walked past me three times and never asked if I needed anything. The racism is very obvious. Do not support business that disregard you as their customer. Take your money somewhere else. I am an out of towner from Ohio and the Asian hair store owners in my hometown are friendly and polite.
