Coffee, community, conversation. In 2016 the first of C3 Coffee Bars opened its doors with a passion for coffee, a purpose to serve the community and a powerful conversation that “People Matter To God.” Owned and operated by The Rock Church, 100% of the profit and donations are used to help, minister and meet the needs of the community. C3 partners with Balzac Brothers Coffee in Charleston, SC to import the highest grade, farm direct specialty coffee that uses no slave labor and prices are set by the producers. Large open seating area inside with counter ordering, picnic tables outside and drive thru. Metal stools and chairs, cement floors and black ceiling tiles mingles industrial look with a more stylish flair of leather sofas and upholstery chairs. Something feels amiss with muted TVs turned to sports channels and no worship or coffee house music. Simple paper menu on the counter offers a variety of coffee and a display box has two breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, bagels, cookies, muffins and other baked goods to choose from. A large chalkboard behind the counter remains empty but could be better utilized for those unfamiliar with their menu giving them more time and not feeling rushed. Staff were personable as they did their job but offered little interaction with customers. Our bacon breakfast croissant was hot, tasty and filled with a good amount of bacon and the cinnamon roll a real sweet treat. My wife had nothing but praise for her black coffee with cream, especially in comparison to the coffee shop chains she frequents. Overall experience was good and being ones that love to support and shop local we will be back.

So about one hour after going to the other location I decided to venture up and test this one for a spin. Learned some back story behind the company and was able to see that the great customer service, amazing coffee, and wonderful atmosphere is not isolated to just one location. This location is a little more organized and established from an aesthetics perspective. The menu and quality of the items are the same between the locations. This location is a little more conducive to my form of work environment. I loved the giant windows and the setup I was able to configure with my work computer. They have outlets and splitters around the shop so you can easily set up anywhere. This time I got the pumpkin latte which was very good, not as good as the cinnamon toast latte though (in my opinion).

Three stars for service; The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they are perfect, great job, ladies! The establishment is super cute, great vibe. Very clean. Unfortunately can't recommend the mocha frappe 😭 they remade it for us twice adding extra syrup and it just got sweeter-- it had zero flavor, and an offwhite color. Photo shows one of the remade ones. Way too sweet and no hint of cocoa or coffee. We had to leave to go get coffee elsewhere, and maybe add some of this to it. They are also expensive ($6 ea) for a drink made with only syrup and powder, we weren't too happy.. we really thought, honestly, this a terrible product, but the staff was so nice.. So, less sugary syrup and sugary dairy powder, more straight coffee and unsweetened cocoa/dark chocolate, please.

I was having a bad day to say the LEAST when I entered this small local coffee shop. My wife had just left me for being "unfaithful" and I had just lost my job for being "bad at it". I was at my personal rock bottom. I say all of this to say - I wasn't expecting much - just a place for free wifi and maybe a cheap cup of black coffee. Well boy, was I wrong! I was greeted by a charming young man. While his outward appearance left much to be desired, he made up for it with his wonderful personality and great outstanding service. I asked his name and he said Seth, with a rosy smile and a tip of his hat. His eyes, how they twinkled His dimples how merry, His cheeks were like roses, when kissed by the sun, His nose like a cherry, all wrinkled with fun. He had a broad face, And a round little belly, That shook when he laughed, Like a bowl full of jelly.

He could tell I was down, so he went out of his way to make me smile, which I greatly appreciated. He quipped a couple quick zingers and goofed and gaffed the whole time I was there. It was truly dinner and a show!! He assured me I had done nothing wrong in my marriage and my wife was the problem (which I already knew but still it was good to hear from someone else). He made me what he called was a "Seth Surprise" which tasted a lot like a black cup of coffee, but when I asked what was in it he just kept saying "a magician never reveals his tricks".

All in all, this coffee shop is deserving of a visit if nothing else then to meet his charming lad. I'm sure he has a great and bright future ahead of him, and I'll...

A good, full-service coffee bar, in my experience.

I visited here for some fresh coffee to go with my lunch while passing through Conway, and, indeed, coffee was served! I started with an Americano, then progressed to a cold-brew, and both were tasty, reasonably priced, and served by a friendly barista. Though the bar's interior was handsomely decorated and comfortably large, I opted to eat al fresco, on a quaint little roadside picnic table between two sentinel trees. There, I had my meal and read a good book and soaked up the sun, with Conway-ians passing by all the while -- magnifique! And then, when lunch was done and it was time for a bathroom break, I made use of a clean, functional men's room, thus sealing C3's fate of a five-star review.

All in all, I had zero problems with this coffee bar, and will likely return.

My thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service. Keep it up,...
