I love illusions gifts, been going here for 15+ years. Got my first piercing there. They are one of the only places I buy vape juice. ( and will still be) I like the staff. I’m a member of their rewards program. I know right, this is all good . Then what’s so bad? The way I was met with resistance, skepticism and ignorant hostility when I call and told them that a change in their product line had made the new product hard to identify the menthol line from the non menthol line.

So I live about 20-25 miles one way and come here about once a month ,So I buy bulk. I take daughter there every year to spend $100 to $200 on a birthday gift for her. Always spend money when we go in but last week was so bad during our visit. 3 men working and literally stared and followed us as we shopped so bad we felt like criminals and couldn't even joke about funny items cuz they were listening and staring so hard. I started having a panic attack and couldn't talk finally went outside to call husband to come shop with her but on his way she couldn't handle it anymore and asked me take her elsewhere. Not sure if they were robbed recently or not but treating every customer that way is so wrong. It was a tradition shopping there...

While I did enjoy the charm and chill vibe of the shop, I really loved talking to Cassi specifically; she made it feel effortless and easier to get over severe social anxiety issues by simply being herself and making conversations fun/relaxing. She pays attention and engages customers with precise skill and genuine compassion, to where people will look forward to their next visit - I know I did. Truly a shame she's not there anymore, so I'll be taking my business elsewhere; that said, nothing held against the other workers though. they're nice and pleasant to talk with as well, but it won't feel as welcoming without Cassi to brighten...
