I brought my phone in on Saturday to have the back glass replaced. We dropped it off at 9am and at almost 12pm, we received a call saying no one could do my screen cause they were short on techs. They had my phone for almost 3 hours with it just sitting there not being worked on… As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, someone called saying that they could actually do it since we already paid for it. We live almost 30 minutes away, so we were annoyed at this. We paid when dropping it off, so we decided to go ahead with it being fixed. At the very end of their work day, we arrive to pick up the phone and a guy tells me they saw that my cameras are messed up and need replaced. He said I dropped it too many times and caused them to go bad, but the tech is willing to look further into it on Monday, they just didn’t want me to go without a phone over the weekend. (Which i appreciate. I would have went crazy.) I use my camera every single day though. I have thousands and thousands of photos on my cell phone and have never once seen black spots. I have time stamped photo proving that my camera is in working order. He told me they noticed the black spots on my camera pretty much right away when they started looking at it. No one ever called to tell me they found this problem? They had my phone for 8-9 hours. He then opens my camera gallery and pulls up a photo to try and show us black spots on the photo. It was a screenshot that was pulled up, so it wasn’t even one taken with my camera, and there were no spots on the photo. Opening up someone’s camera roll is not cool at all. He was trying to make it out like the black spots were there all along and they weren’t at fault, but the tech would be willing to look at it IFwe brought it back. We then go to the front and he pulls out a wavier of “acceptance of work”. We refused to sign due to the camera being messed up. He called his manager up front and she immediately made the situation better. She completely understood why we didn’t want to sign and said of course she doesn’t expect us to sign the waiver or does she want us to. She insisted that I bring my phone back to have them look at it, cause she knew it wasn’t messed up when I brought it in and they do wanna look at it further. The way she worded things was much much different than her employee. She turned a bad situation into a good one. I had a screen protector picked out that I wanted and she put it on for me and gave it to me for free due to all my trouble. My boyfriend brought my phone back today (Monday) and they kept my phone all day long. They replaced the camera for free. Everything seems to be in working order. Thank you so much to Casey, I believe it was. I’ve used cellular accessories many of times and never had an issue until this time. The only issue I had with this visit was the blonde hair guy blaming me for my camera being messed up and his customer service, and that they had my phone for 3 hours just sitting there because they didn’t have a tech to do it. They should have told me when I dropped it off. The manager really made things right. I recommend training on how to handle situations, cause she did great and really turned a sour situation into a good one. Thank you...
Read moreI needed the back glass for my pink Samsung S22+ so I called up there and made sure I could bring it in and it be done before I had to go to work at 4 pm. I get there at 3:30 and it isn't done. I have to wait until around 3:55 pm and I rush out of the store without really looking at my phone.. but when I look at it, they put a matte pink piece of glass on the phone that looks like trash. Its absolutely horrible. I paid over $45, and I'm so upset because my phone is terrible. I have decided to just forfeit what I've spent and go to another place and get the stock glass on my phone!
Update to reply: I totally agree with you. It just wasn't worth my time and energy to go back and forth. We were at the store in Cookeville at 3:55, and I had to be at work in Bloomington Springs at 4:00. I didn't have time. If I hadn't called another Cellular repair place and been told that they would get my phone back to the original, then I would have come back and asked if you could help remedy the situation. I should've called and told you that it wasn't to my satisfaction.. but at that point, it was worth it to flush that $45 down the toilet. I thought I was in the wrong for not making it 100% clear that I wanted the original Samsung back glass/housing (I don't know what exactly it's called). I thought it was because of my ignorance that this happened. I've never had a phone that was expensive enough to be worth getting it repaired. So it was disheartening to just have a random matte pink glass put on my very expensive device. I know it may not seem that expensive or as big of a deal to person that has a million other very expensive phones around them, but this phone is the most expensive thing I've bought for myself. i struggle with speaking up and voicing my opinion anyway. I was also dissatisfied with customer service. The young man you have at the counters isn't a person who should be servicing people's needs. He just looked at me like I was stupid and would take long, awkward pauses while staring at you like you're an idiot. Read moreThis is the worst place to ever go to have a phone fixed or to buy one. My husband dropped his phone and it shattered so we took it here to get fixed and Charlie,one of the so called owners said he would fix it for $230 so we thought with it being a newer model phone that it sounded reasonable. Well then he calls us and tells us that all kinds of other things are wrong with it and it's gonna cost more. We run a small retail store and he seen that we had commercial pressure washers and said he'd fix it all for the pressure washer and him give us $150. The pressure washer retailed for $1100 but we agreed cause our business is mainly Internet based. We had to have it. He called us later on that day and said it was done. Well the camera didn't work and it was always freezing. Took it to battery and bulbs and he looked at it and he said there was flip face phone parts in it and cardboard and it was glued back together. This is the worst business I've ever been to. Now I see why they are rated so low. I recommend Batteries & Bulbs to get your phone fixed and don't buy out of here either the prices are outrageous. Charlie is nothing but a Rip off and liar. He'll get what's coming to him one day for all the bad he's done. You can't do hard working people like this and expect them to want to come back. I'll never be back. And all of the employees are the rudest people I've ever met. And now today August 31st. Charlie has just called and threatened to kill me and my husband.
