Wonderland Comics — Local services in Cookeville

This place has your new comics, your back issues, graphic novels, and lots of other tidy bits. Owned by a comic book writer, it's the sort of place that you feel comfortable shuffling through boxes perusing. They are willing to order just about anything you are looking for, and they have gotten pretty good at getting pull orders consistent if you sync them to a service like Comic Geeks. Also, you'll get a nice discount if you do pull orders with them (though they also offer weekday deals in-shop). Down to earth. Easy to talk to, but not trying to be in your back pocket and sell you lots of stuff. They'll offer suggestions, but they don't get offended if it's not your thing. I would encourage anyone shopping here to review some of the older reviews for Nirvana Comics Knoxville (when Richard was the owner). Very shady business practices. Would not give him a dime. Nothing is fake about my review. I will attach my experience with him as a comic shop owner below.

Been shopping there for several months, never had a bad experience. The folks that work there are very polite and knowledgeable of all things comic related. Their selection is also pretty dope, whether you’re looking for new issues or want to thumb through boxes of stuff from bygone eras. They also offer discounts for subscribing to series, which makes collecting new stuff much easier on the wallet.
