Placed online order for one pizza and was supposed to be delivered in 30-45 mins. One hour passed and no pizza arrived so I turned in and called and when the person answered he stated that the pizza was already made and on the way. After another hour of waiting (2 hours in) I finally realized no pizza yet and called back and asked for the manager and she basically said she just saw the delivery driver pass by and he should be arriving anytime now. At that point I question if the pizza was even gonna be warm lol. She reassured me it would be hot when delivered and Convo ended. I waited another 30 mins or so and finally got a knock on the door and the pizza finally arrived and the gentleman admitted my order was not ready and the manager basically lied. I basically tipped him 20.00 bucks for the honesty and let him get into work instead of arguing or bashing him. Won't ever order again even though Papa John's is my favorite pizza place. I only have a 30 min lunch and work 11 hours... I wasn't able to enjoy it and the sad thing is the manager didn't even act like it was a big deal or offer a discount (not that I was expecting it) but working many many years in the customer service field it's only right to treat your...
Read moreEvery single time we've ordered from the Cookeville location, there's always some mess up. We don't call and chew them out over it, we deal with it. We DO call and make sure they know "hey, this happened last time on accident, can you please make sure it doesn't happen this time." Last time they put mushrooms on the whole pizza instead of half like it was ordered, and my husband hates mushrooms and so he didn't get pizza like the rest of us. So this time we call just to make sure they know it was messed up last time and to please make sure it's right this time. The woman on the phone said what they always say whenever there is a mistake; that her people know better, it's the best they can do, there's nothing they can do about it, etc. My husband was not asking for free food, not asking for things we haven't paid for, and was very polite and not even asking for an apology for the past, just reassurance that when he gets there, that it'll be right. They always act like we're idiots and over stepping our bounds for asking for what we ordered and paid for. So glad we don't have to deal with these people anymore. Hire some new management that actually value customer service...
Read morePappa johns meat lovers with pineapple and green peppers was my order. I appreciate the fact that maybe they were busy or short on employees but spending 25.00 on a under cooked pizza with very little meat and everything sliding off of your piece of pizza was discouraging. The delivery lady was kind and sweet but we were frustrated with who ever took our call because it was a odd conversation and frustrating at their demeanor while we were trying to let the lady on the phone know what we wanted on our pizza, come to find out the person was not even at Pappoa Johns it's called (Pappa Call) apparently they take the orders from some where else. Not only was the experience hard but seems like a waist of time, the person seemed clueless about what we wanted on our pizza. To have someone not on site take our order is not a good ideal. I just have to say not that it matters to this company but I will not order any more pizza from Papoa Johns again, it was a complete waist of 25.00 and a...
