The washer and dryer are okay. I don't like the rinse solution they have pre-placed in the fabric softener side. As a person with allergies, initially, whatever solution (chemical) they used caused me a problem. So I make sure I don't use it. The lady manager has a problem with me taking it out and using my own fabric softener, but it's my right to protect myself. For me, that solution is NOT safe. This appears to be the only laundromat in the city, and we have to clean our clothes but NOT at the cost of being put in harms way. Additionally, the new Big Commercial washers in the back cost $10 and need time recalibration. You're paying for 28 minutes but only getting 21 minutes(I have videos). Seniors on fixed incomes, this is NOT financially fair to us. Receipts need to be itemized, weighed, & given to customers who drop off their clothes or other items for customer laundry service. The morning manager does keep the facility clean, and she's helpful at times, but there is a limited English barrier as she is Spanish speaking. I hope these occurrences I've mentioned can be addressed as they are "FIXABLE." UPDATE REVIEW... The commercial washing machine in the back ($10 cost) had no sign on it stated it was NOT washing just rinsing. I called the emergency phone number on the wall to report it but "no answer and mailbox filled". When the laundry staff lady got there at 8 am (sign says 6am), I informed her and showed her the video of the machine. She took my name down on a pad that was written in Spanish and reimbursed my $10. Her English is very limited because she could not tell me what she had written on the notepad...
Read moreIt's been over 8yrs since I've been in a laundromat. I'll be going back for sure. At least until we get our own washer/dryer. The lady was so helpful. She came out, helped me get my clothes out my vehicle, she helped me load the clothes, she helped me get clothes out of washer. She even loaded the liquid in the machine and the quarters. Her hospitality is EXTRAORDINARY!!! I want to go on and on and on about how AWESOME she was. May the Most High God bless her. I haven't been anywhere, where their customer service and hospitality was like this since I was a young child. She made me think about how I need to improve on my hospitality and customer service. And I'm good at it. I think I will go back and gift her when I go back. I'm so shocked. You don't have people like her working daily. She's rare, a different type of...
Read morePlenty of washers and dryers of different sizes. All appeared to be operational. Coins required, but a change machine available. Fairly clean with chairs about and a TV. A bathroom for customers which is locked.
The attendant was polite and helpful but seemed only to be there until noon, so people wanting bathroom access when she was gone were out of luck.
We were there to wash a bedspread too big for our in home washer and dryer. I was shocked at the cost of doing a large load. Cost us about $6 between the 3X sized washer and multiple dryer cycles. OK for once a year bedspread cleaning but I would be spending $15-$20 per week not including soap doing regular laundry.
We had lunch down the street at a newly opened grilled chicken place while waiting on the wash. All in all a pleasant visit...
