J's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Corinth

UPDATE!!!! - 3/12/2025 - I am updating my previous post from a few years ago. I want to give HUGE KUDDOS to this Hallmark store. They have reinstated their Mahogany card section. I am super happy to shop at my local store again. I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Thank you!!!

2 stars- Let me start by saying that I enjoy browsing and shopping at Hallmark stores. It's been several years since I've been to this store. The reason I stopped going is because the manager didn't see the need or value of having a variety of Mahogany cards in this store. Through the years, I asked on two separate occasions, hoping she would get some in stock. Fast forward to today, still no Mahogany cards on display. I was told by the young lady working there that basically they rotate. Huh??? So there is no display, nor are they among the other card on display, which is the practice in many Hallmark stores. She was helpful and attempted to find some. She found a box marked Mahogany, and proceeded to tell me "these are encouragement cards". They are STILL NOT on display!!! I was looking for a birthday card for my son. Sadly, Hallmark has had about 2 or 3 Mahogany birthday cards for a son. Through the years, he has gotten all of them, one of them at least twice! You will notice the card in the picture, doesn't say son! Surely, there should be more Mahogany birthday cards for a son. I wish I had more pictures.

The Lewisville store has a great selection of Mahogany cards! Shout out to Vett!!! I'll continue to go there since it seems the Corinth store doesn't value my choices or preferences. Hallmark must do better at ALL of...

I experienced the rudest customer service yesterday. They mark up products like crazy! I wanted to be a Willow Tree figurine that is $85 on the Willow Tree website yet in store it was $99. Huge mark up! I could maybe understand up to $5 mark up. Anyways, when I told the cashier, Natathlie (or something like that) she said rudely to me "well we have to be profit". Not I'm really sorry or anything. Then my moms card's chip was having trouble and she was so rude to her my mom left. Just overall disappointed in the customer service I received. Just had the most amazing shopping experience at this store! I needed a small thank you gift for a nurse that helped me out. The staff was creative and helpful, they not only found the perfect gift, card & wrapping, but I also found several other items for a few upcoming Birthday's etc. Then as I was checking out, they gave ME the nicest surprise with a hand written note from the staff Thanking me and asking me to shop there again. I have never had that happen! What a wonderful thing to do and it made me a loyal shopper - I will shop there again...
