I love the store. Absolutely amazing. The grocery store is in the middle of a shopping center. Huge parking lot with enough parking for all. Everytime I go there, the baskets and shopping carts are securely locked and convenient enough to grab right in front of the store entrance. There is someone always standing there to sanitize the cart as you grab one. The store is absolutely fabulous. You walk in and there is freshly sushi being made. To the right of the store is the deli displaying fresh cheese, sandwich meat and hot food. Stater brothers has great chicken. Then next to that is the bakery and flower department. Every aisle looks the same. Organized and detailed, with labeled signs. The store is extremely cleaned. You can actually see your face in the floor of the store. Someone is always constantly scrubbing, wiping or moping the store. As far as customer service in the store, its not good. The reason I give them 4 stars is because I think they should be more friendly. When you walk up to the clerk to purchase your groceries, the only greeting you get is hi, how are you and then conversation usually cease. The grocery baggers always bag the groceries wrong. Always putting the milk and juice in the same bag....don't they realize that the bag may break or too heavy for the customer to carry. Its almost like they just hurry you out by throwing all groceries in the same bag. You can tell them how to bag your groceries and it still ends up you at your car rearranging the bags so that they aren't heavy. There is always someone available, walking around that can help locate an item or ask questions. I just think the customer service needs some improvement. Still go out and support the store. Its very great...
Read moreCame in at around 8:10 to 8:15At night they had two lanes open with about 5 to 6 people in each line Nate called for back up and it took Micheal a while to come up front and when he did, he looked high as hell. He was stumbling over his words, which is cool. I get high too just not at work. I proceeded to make a purchase and it was 4.05 he then proceeded to say I would have to spend 5 bucks when the last time I was in the store I spent the same total . And it was no issue . So since he said something. I said well what do u have for one dollar in here . He said they don’t have anything for a dollar. Then he rang up some bananas after I said well u guys have bananas . Then he added 1.50 worth trying to be funny. So instead of making an a good customer service call and executive decision. Just give me my cash back and continue to help get the line down. He sent the four other customers that were behind me to another line mind you they’re all busy. For me to have to come up with my own solution and tell him to just add a dollar for donation since their donation cards right in his face I don’t know what kind of managers these places are hiring nowadays or what kind of interview process they have but clearly it is somebody little cousin...
Read moreI’m a Former Employee at this Location. While I was Working there I felt unappreciated and overworked. For example I worked over a year and a half with this company. Manager Andrew Lopez and Maria Benito would play a lot of favoritism only their friends would get the early shifts and I would always be closing. Also Mangers Andrew Lopez And Maria Benito would encourage us to mix old chicken with the new chicken. Also I was warned about not throw away the chicken. Also the potato salad was mixed with old potato salad from an old container. Also the Corndogs are not fresh very stale because Managers Andrew Lopez and Maria Benito don’t like wasting food. Also on one occasion i saw Allison Lester licking the Frosting off the cupcakes and Managers Andrew Lopez and Maria Benito saw it and they let her keep her job and still working to this day. Also Other Managers Winston Hutchinson and Michael Garcia would harass me while the main Manager Andrew Lopez was smoking a cigar in front of the Building. Also we had to reuse the gloves cause Manager Andrew Lopez couldn’t afford to by new ones, we had to use them...
