Warhammer — Local services in Corona

This is the store that changed my interest in Warhammer 40k into a full blown hobby. My wife and I were visiting corona for a month and I wanted to check it out before we moved to South Korea. When we first went in we weren't sure but we were welcomed in and then the next thing we are wanting to come and try the painting session that they offer. Then I've bought a combat patrol box and everyone in the store is helping me understand how to build the miniatures. Next thing I've gone full black Templars buying more miniatures, my wife who never heard of Warhammer has bought two boxes of Adepta Sororitas and we've bought citadel paints, paint brushes, citadel paints pots, magnifying glasses, citadel clippers and knives so we can do it at home.

This was all undoubtedly due to the environment shawn has created in the store. We couldn't wait to keep building and painting our armies in the store and using their advice and expertise. Everyone was so nice and shawn and the regular people that come in are the reason we have now become so excited about the hobby.

So if you're like me and want to get into it but worry you're not artistic or it's confusing etc do not worry building and painting are not as complicated as you think. If you're worried about being new, don't this store is proof that 40k is a community and they want new enthusiasts and gamers. I'm from out of town and had some free time today to go around and look at things. Ended up finding this place and walked in to look around and grab a model. fantastic shop, lots of people painting, people using the two tables for playing. The staff member there (Shane? I'm horrible with names) was friendly and provided a great atmosphere. Ive been in the hobby for 3 years now and I absolutely love seeing passionate hobby store owners. Great store. Attended the amazing grand opening and went back yesterday with my son for our first game there. Lots of fun, tables set for games and most importantly friendly staff.

A gentleman came in with his son and manager took the time to walk him through various factions, explained game types to him and then helped him paint his first mini.
