Major staffing or efficiency problems have been going on for years. Two years ago, I wrote a review that noted that you needed to come by after 9 or 10 p.m. to avoid a 30 minute (or longer wait. Things may have gotten worse, based upon an attempt to pickup up prescriptions from this location (100 W. Ontario) tonight. Tried at about 9:40 and there were four cars waiting. Came back at about 10 and their were five. The side of the building from the window back will only accommodate 5 cars, so I would have either would either have to waited around the corner of the building or on the other side of the aisle, to allow traffic to move between Sprouts and Walgreens. The line moves really slowly. It's probably 5-10 minutes per car. Last week, I came in at about midnight and watched the one staff member on the phone for about 20 minutes without even acknowledging me. When another car pulled in behind me, I finally hit the call button to try to get some help. (He could see me the whole time.) When you finally get to the window, the staff do seem professional. Walgreens just seems really greedy to not add one more staff member. After about 10:30 the staffing drops down further. All of this is despite Blue Shield and other insurers now allowing you to pickup 90 days worth of meds at a time, so probably allot of people don't have to come in nearly as often. Have attempted to take up Walgreen's offer to consolidate my prescriptions, so I don't have to come in multiple times in a month. It never worked. You also are pretty much forced to use the drive through despite the 24-hour status. When the days shift goes home (about 3 staff), the remaining pharmacy staff roll down the security gates to the pharmacy counter indoor, all or part way. I've read the reviews here and at the other major review page and I am far from alone in experiencing very, very slow...
Read moreIf I could give them a zero in customer service I would! I agree with most customers here, this store has the worst customer service ever specially with this man name TONI as a cashier and a supervisor named MOHAMED. They’re racist! Horrible customer service towards the Latino community. I have been here 3 times. The first couple of times I was here I didn’t say anything but today they exceded the disrespect. TONI is rude, and they don’t take the time to help seniors. Walgreens has a contact with my choice card benefits and should honor that contract by training their employees and asking them to assist seniors who are under these benefits. He seems miserable at this job!!! But we as customers don’t care and we are not responsible about his inability to perform his duties as a cashier. Last, management should know most people come here because it is convenient (close to our house) not because it is our first option as items are overpriced I’m assuming more people Coming here is only because we needed a last minute item and this is a 24 hr store. With that being said, I’m surprised with all the negative reviews, corporation is not taking action on all of these complaints, especially when it involves multiple customers, or could potentially damage their reputation; they should be able to investigate these complaints, communicate with us, and attempt to...
Read moreThis pharmacy lies! I went to yhe pharmacy to ask the Pharmacist a question. The girl inside the pharmacy told me that the Pharmacist had gone out to lunch (at 4 p) I said to the girl, so the Pharmacist isn't back there & not even in the store? She said, Yes. So I lied and said, "that's too bad because I'm a pharmacy inspector. It took two seconds for the pharmacist to jump from his hidden spot behind the counter and said look I'm here I'm here. Most people don't know this, but it is against the law for anyone to be in a pharmacy or to have the pharmacy open WITHOUT A PHARMACIST present. All she had to do was tell me when his break was over & to come back then. If the pharmacist wants to take his lunch in the pharmacy without interpretation, he should close up the window This pharmacist was just lazy & didn't want to do his job nor help people. He didn't want to be bothered. If I really was a pharmacy inspector and the pharmacist really wasn't there, he would have lost his pharmacy license just like that. I lost all respect for this Walgreens...
