Read moreHonestly, I’m extremely disappointed in Mauza Main Street Deli. My first visit, right when they opened, was an absolute disaster. I met the owner, and it became clear he wasn’t interested in running the business – it felt like he bought the place as a side investment and handed it off to whoever to manage. My experience was terrible: two sandwiches took a ridiculous 45 minutes to prepare, half the ingredients were missing, and the flavors were mediocre at best. All this for sandwiches priced at $15+? Outrageous.
I tried giving them another chance a few months later, hoping the service had improved. But nothing had changed. Once again, I couldn’t even order the sandwich I wanted because ingredients were out of stock. I reluctantly settled for a different option, only to be told after I paid that they had to make substitutions. It’s not just frustrating; it’s unprofessional.
What’s even more disappointing is that this is a Muslim-owned business, yet they seem to be cutting corners, knowing the Muslim community will pay a premium for halal food. It feels like they’re taking advantage of that, offering subpar service and expecting us to just accept it.
I will never come back to this place again, and that’s a shame because it’s right down the street from the Masjid. This deli had the potential to become a community hub, but the owners clearly lack the vision and standards to make...
Read moreDelicious Halal Sandwiches! I'm absolutely loving Mouza Deli! Not only are their sandwiches incredibly delicious, but they're also Halal, which is a huge plus. I've tried the T-Mex Turkey, Sopranos, and Steak & Cheese so far, and let me tell you, they're all AMAZING! The flavors, the freshness, everything is just on point. The only reason I wouldn't give it a full 5 stars for value is that the prices are a bit steep, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The deli itself is clean, nicely decorated, and the crew is super friendly. They make you feel welcome and take care of your needs. Overall, Mouza Deli has earned a loyal customer in me. Can't wait to try more of their menu! Recommended for: Halal food lovers, sandwich enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a clean and friendly dining experience.
