+JMJ...Wednesday, 30 September 2020... Recently had to seek out repairs for a washer which has been in the house that I have been renting for the past 5 years. Never even had to use it because I already had a washer/dryer set.. Regrettably, after nearly 10 years of usage, the washer of a Samsung Energy Efficient set started suffering a bearing problem. After searching to purchase a replacement, found the price prohibitive on my income. So, after checking out the reviews of Appliance Junkies, ... what they have a cat on the premises?! I decided to pay them a visit. Thankfully they were open and all were very welcoming. And, yes, the cat, a healthy Tortieshell, was on the premises walking along the counter top and over the tops of the many appliances 😻! Spoke to the owner, sorry, I don't recall his name, but he spoke at length to my friend who was going to help bring in the washer after we got a yes from the owner/repairmen. Of course, the owner is very knowledgeable, but the most intriguing part of this visit was the story he told about how he and his wife rescued and nursed back to health the cat (then a recently born kitten) that had gotten trapped in their storage area. Anyway, I digress. My friend and I returned to drop off the washer and in just a week, Jason, the owner's son, had the washer back in tip top shape. The water flow was healthy, and the broken lid switch had been repaired which made the washer fully operable. I highly recommend these wonderful people. They are knowledgeable, personable, honest, and the cost for repair of that old washer was very reasonable. If I ever need repairs of another appliance or need to make a purchase, they will be my first choice. God bless them. They...

I woke up this morning to a side by side refer that wasn't freezing. The ice was water and the bread/biscuits were mushy. The meat mostly thawed. I immediately called the team at Appliance Junkies. I know they are a busy family so patiently waited for a call back. (They weren't open yet). Soon after they opened, I got a call from Jason. He said they are real busy but he would come and see me today. As today went on, I realized that the refrigerator too wasn't working properly as the temp ran up to 58. Early afternoon Jason came by. He had a couple of parts with him but unfortunately, the refer was gone. It was only 25 years too. Within an hour I had a new (used) refrigerator in my house installed and working perfectly. I find the service and dedication of the folks at Appliance Junkies superb. Sometimes they dont answer their phones because they keep their staff at a minimum so they can give their customers fair or better pricing. Oven repaired on 12/23/2020. It died again that night. All on vacation. Note on door say's calls will be answered from 12/28 through 12/31. Left a message several times, no response. Last call this morning, was told not to call back till 1/4/2021. No Christmas dinner, no Christmas baking no oven use till next year! While I appreciate the need for people needing vacation time during the holidays, ours was completely ruined. Very disappointed.
