*Today I was reminded why I rarely, if ever, shop in the Cottonwood store. Let me preface this by saying, I work all week ion customer resolve for a multi million dollar company, and it bends over backwards to excel if not meet expectations. *Upon entering, I handed the front desk my shoes to trade for a larger size. 8 disappointing attempts later, 5 sizes completely unavailable, 3 were just not a good fit, I settled on a pair trail running shoes I did not want. That happens when you shop somewhere restocking isn't a priority. If you only have two sizes of a show on your display wall in 2 color choices, IT SHOULD NOT BE ON THE WALL. *The rest of this horrible experience was back at the front desk / register. No one could find the shoes I left there when entering. It would have been amusing if the manager actually took responsibility and apologised, but didn't. It took ten minutes to locate them, because someone put them in the back, even with my receipt in the box, proving that person wasn't sharp enough to check the box. *The third act was the exchange math. Even with the tax rate different from the Flagstaff store I paid, twice the employee quoted a differential $ 10.00 higher. Twice I remarked that was not possible if he did the math. He even incorrectly stated what I paid, with it emblazoned on the box. The actual difference with tax would have been slightly over $ 31.00, not 41. *The point is, the few times I have been there instead of Flagstaff, it was a bad experience, and this reinforced the reason for a bad review. I took my old shoes back and just walked out. THE MANAGER NEVER APPROACHED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM NOR APOLOGIZE. Go elsewhere where professionalism and customer satisfaction...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWomen, you cannot try on clothes here still as of 12-1-21. So I bought nearly $400 worth. Only kept one item. Brought the rest back. Three of the items skus didn't match 3 of the items on my receipt. Even though I explained that I don't live in the area and have only been to the store once they would only give me store credit, which was less than what I was charged. Even though I was upset by this since I wasn't going to get more clothes to potentially do another hour drive round-trip I still looked throughout the store for something to buy. They don't have hiking socks which is really all I needed so I left with nothing, but the memory that I will never shop here again. There are 54 reviews of this store on Yelp which give it an average of 2 out of 5 stars. Wish I would have seen that before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off, I was looked at as a common criminal as if I were stealing or going to steal from this store. I had never been to this in the 6 years I lived in this area, I had some time so I thought I would check it out. I know how employees and manager act when their looking for something...well I wasn't the one. I had actually made a comment to one of the managers in regards to how suspicious I was looking and everything just to be a smart ass. I resell online so I was literally just looking around with nothing particular in mind other than one item a friend was interested in, which is the reason I went there in the first place. I didn't feel comfortable there, and needless to say, I won't be back. I am being generous with the 2 star rating because I liked the store. How...
