Never before have I been so compelled to write a negative review. I came here just today and asked for the cheapest shipping option for a box to California. The clerk goes through the entire process ringing up the order, slapping on the label, and ONLY THEN giving me the price after casually tossing my very expensive and somewhat heavy package over her shoulder (my fault for not mentioning fragile. I had no idea this how non-fragile items are treated). I say that since I didn't know the price and didn't want to spend that much. I mention at no point was I asked the price to which she responds "This is the cheapest. This is what you wanted." I ask for my package back and she claims that it's already printed and I can't have it back and now I'm standing there forced to overpay for this package. I reluctantly paid, not wishing to make a big scene about snatching my package back. Simply awful.
I am sure that this post office likely has some fine, perfectly professional clerks but this woman was simply not...
Read moreMy experience was so bad I just had to share. Apparently good customer service skills is not a prerequisite for working the front desk here...or maybe it was just my skin color... I walked in and greeted the gentleman politely. Then, proceeded to ask how long it would take for my package to arrive at its destination, only to receive, "How should I know, I haven't even plugged it in the computer yet." After that he replied, "A couple of days." I inquired for a more specific time to gauge whether or not it would be worth paying for overnight shipping. His response, "A couple means two. I can't tell you when, but that's what a couple means." What?! Um I know what a couple means. I have a degree in English and speak it fluently. He was just rude. I proceeded to take my package and inform him that I will go to another post office since clearly my patronage was not needed; even if my taxes and use of the physical post office keep him...
Read moreOne of the staff, Rich, was unbelievably rude. His behavior was absolutely shocking and disgusting. When I walked in the building today, he looked extremely annoyed and irritated. When I politely asked him to postmark my package, he rudely yelled "Don't tell me what do do! I know what to do!" I calmly asked him if I could see the postmark, but he angrily shouted "don't touch it!" He was very discriminatory and rude since I speak broken English, and did not act like this to the white woman who was also there. His disgusting behavior should not be in our peaceful town of Cranbury, which I have lived in the past 20 years. I will NEVER be...
