If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. I wanted them to be good, I really did. JSK is local to me and this store would be super convenient for my pet needs because of that. Key words, Would be. As in; 'It would be super convenient if the store was ever open". Firstly, they have no hours posted anywhere. No hours online, no hours on their storefront. No hours anywhere. I showed up two weekends in a row to see if they were ever open, they were not either weekend. So I called asking for hours, as well as their prices on fish and mice. I was told (by the very rude woman who called me back the next day) that their hours were 11am to 5pm or 5:30pm, Monday through Friday but they were usually open till 6:30pm on Fridays. Great, I get off work, show up at 5:10pm on a Wednesday, the door's locked. Not so great, but okay, they did say 5pm OR 5:30pm, so maybe I missed them... Or so I thought. Just today I sent my partner to go buy mice on his lunch at noon, he texted me shortly after saying that they were closed. To be honest, if they weren't so rude I wouldn't even care about the lack of business hours and just chalk it up to a store shriveling up. But when I called to ask about their hours and prices I was so taken aback from how I was treated by JSK's staff. I left a message on a Sunday and on the next Monday a woman called me back. She questioned my reasons for buying mice and fish, demanding to know why I want them. I feed them to my pet, just like anyone else buying feeder animals. She got irate and proclaimed I should just use kibble instead. This woman does not know my pets nutritional or medicinal needs, it was very out of line of her to become aggressive with me over what I feed my own pet. I also recently relocated and still have my old phone number (with a different area code) the woman accused me of not even being in the area and tried to get me off the line because of that.
