Gas & Overall Experience| This place is a dumpster fire. Its only saving grace are the cashiers who actually care about the job. Management fails to communicate with customers and employees - allowing everything to fall apart without any clue when/if things will be fixed.

If you expect your experience here to suck, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Expect delays with card readers and gas pumps. Card readers are slow and often fail to read cards properly, inside or at the pump. Gas pump receipt machines are systematically broken; you might find one that works, but don't count on it.

Go inside if you need or want a receipt. You can pay for gas by price ($) or volume (gallons).

About 10 seats are available at a high-top counter inside, along the big glass windows, facing the parking lot.

Bagged ice is sold here in 7lb bags - you get a small discount if you buy multiples of 2.

This CEFCO has a carwash a tire pump machine on-site. The tire pump accepts card payments and quarters. You can pay for the carwash at the pump (if you're lucky), outside the carwash itself (if the payment machine is working, or inside with the cashier (the recommended choice).

A regular ATM and a Bitcoin ATM are available for use inside, near the restrooms.

A lottery stand, with pencils and manual lottery papers, is available, located to the right of the ATMs, near the restrooms. Use the official Florida Lottery scanner on the checkout counter to check your scratch-off games and lottery slips; it's on the far-right side, near the main entrance and the shopping baskets.

Many discounts are available, though the majority of them require the customer to enter a phone number at the POS to enjoy the advertised discounts.

Food & Beverage Options| Ice cups - available at this store for no charge, conditions may apply, check with staff.

Drinks - Soda fountain with a range of Coca-cola and Pepsi options, Dr Pepper also available; four-flavors of icee available; six coffee dispensers with a range of flavors; a hot-chocolate machine with four or so flavors. Tea urns on the back counter offer a Sweet and Unsweet brew, using the soft drink cups and prices.

Drink Station - Chilled coffee creamers, sugar packets, stirring sticks, and drink carriers are available. Condiments can be found near the drink station, underneath the pizza warmer.

Hot Food - Includes a hot dog roller grill, a "taquito" roller grill, a pizza holding station, and another hot-holding station for other wrapped snacks. Tacos, tater tots, burgers, wings, and more are available in the largest hot-holding station. Deli hours are usually 7am-7pm if you want to request an item that isn't displayed when you arrive. Hotdog buns are located in drawers directly underneath the roller grills, individually wrapped in plastic covers.

Large volume water jugs, soda cases, and 2-liter soda line the hallway to the restrooms.

Cases of plastic water bottles can be found outside the main entrance, baking in the Summer highs and direct sunlight. A range of individual water bottles can be purchased from inside, instead.

LGBT+ Customers| Restrooms are marked "Men" and "Women," but they are far from cashiers who are way too busy to police which one you use. Florida law doesn't prevent you from using the one that you're comfortable using, and staff are not required/authorized to police your restroom choice. I visit this store frequently and haven't had any issues with the staff or other customers.

CEFCO isn't publicly supportive of the LGBT+ community, to my knowledge, but many on staff at this location are allies or in the club themselves. That said, I can't say that a positive experience for you is...

Called the Cefco on North Ferdon 3 TIMES , went to VM EACH time. Had a question about gift card for gas. Called the SOUTH FERDON Cefco by Shoal river, answered 1st ring, Lady was very Nice& HELPFUL, and answered every question as to the purchase. My OPINION:(& I’ve heard this from more customers) you DO NOT have ENOUGH staffing for this store. Most times there are no Reciepts received, you must go in & ASK. You are not the only gas station on the North End of town so you need to step it up in this store bc people do leave & you loose business… NOT BECAUSE of STAFF but because of your shortage of STAFF. Driving home on I-10 in a dirty truck and used Google to find a gas station with a car wash. I was very pleased with the recommendation! This place looked like it was brand new. It was very well lit, clean and the car wash was thorough, yet gentle with a good rinse. *I was so pleased that I felt as if I should tell others about this positive experience at a fine store! Occasionally, everything goes surprisingly exceptional and I felt others would find this helpful to know when a business exceeds your expections!
