Every time i had had been to subway since the pandemic I've had a great experience with this store, until today at approximately 4:00pm. To begin, my father has stage 4 copd, and so it is a necessity that I choose places to eat with well inforced mask policies. If I bring covid home with me, he dies. What I saw at subway today was astoundingly disappointing. I wish I had noticed it sooner or I would have walked away. The lady that was serving me directly had her mask worn below her nose, as did a male who was working the back drive through. Not only that, but there was another employee that wore his mask at chin level the whole time. When he proceeded to cash me out I had to ask him to please put his mask on his face before I stepped up and finished the transaction. He did, but only enough to cover his mouth, not his nose. I had to ask him again to wear his mask properly while serving me. I would have been more concerned with the lady who made my subs too, but at least there was a barrier between us, where the subs are prepped, and absolutely nothing between the male server and myself at checkout. Three out of four employees not wearing a mask properly is simply outrageous and I will not be able to go back to the store, personally, until I know for certain this issue is solved. Covid isn't a joke, people are dying and I'm doing my best to keep my father from getting it, while most of the employees here, or at least the ones working today, clearly think this is a joke to them, or that I'm just...
Read moreA week ago, would have been 5 stars. I love subway.
But, since they dropped Door Dash, and no longer deliver - (not that they ever delivered to me, until they got with Door Dash.)
Now- no delivery, no Subway for me, because I am avoiding everything and everyone in this pandemic.
The grocery stores still deliver. So, my luxury sub or salad, not made by me, isn't hurting me. I'm saving, weekly,$18 on food, and $12-15 on tip.
And, Subway - you are putting Dashers out of work. Hope you feel good...(that was sarcasm.)
I will not drive to town for your, or anyone's food.
The pandemic, and Door Dash, has let me eat from restaurants previosly unavailable. But, if you think I'm going to rush to your establishment, that no longer delivers & fits my lifestyle, cuz corona is backing down - you are dead wrong.
I paid for convenience.
I'm still willing to pay for convenience.
And, you don't deliver, and dropped Door Dash.
You are no longer convenient. And, sorry you put revenue above people's livelihood.
Whatever.
My $80 a month ain't gonna hurt you. But, it is going to help me. So, Thanks for being greedy!
Not buying your food is going to help me get ahead. And, you created the reason you lost my...
Read moreThe employee asked for my order. I advised two 6 inch subs and advised which bread. The employee slopped the meat and cheese onto the bread in clumps. Note.......the employees were not wearing hair nets (long, bushy hair), no gloves. The lettuce was brown and wilted. They had mayonnaise, but no Dijon or Spicey Mustard. They advised that they only have yellow or honey mustard. I think it's odd that a sub sandwich restaurant would not have Dijon or Spicey Mustard. Then they refused the coupon which they have in the Baker School (local school) fundraiser book, I purchased from Baker School, less than a month ago. The employee advised that their Manager said not to honor those coupons. The coupon clearly states it's not accepted in DeFuniak Springs or Freeport Florida locations. Nothing on website stating this coupon not accepted at 1490 N Ferdon Blvd. location. Two 6 inch subs and two cookies, $20.00 (coupon not honored). Now I remember why I quit eating at Subway. Unsanitary practices. Nasty. Failure to honor coupon. (Only reason I went there). Absolutely DO NOT recommend the Subway, located at 1490 N Ferdon Blvd. in...
