Listen, if I could hop in a time machine and whisper sweet nothings to my past self in Crestview, the very first thing I’d do is scream, “Go to Arashi Restaurant, you fool!” This place is the sushi Shangri-La my belly always dreamed of, but my brain only recently discovered.
First off, the prices? Practically a cheat code. You’ve got lunch at $21, dinner at $32 for made-to-order sushi—and no, this isn’t a glitch in the matrix. Start your meal with their Miso soup: it’s like a cozy hug in a bowl, warming your soul (and possibly solving half your life’s problems). Then feast your eyes on the crab rangoons, which strike the perfect balance of sweet and savory—like they were engineered in a secret flavor lab.
But wait, there’s more—SUSHI GALORE. I powered through what felt like 10 rolls, 8 pieces each, which basically means I earned a black belt in sushi consumption. Did I stop there? Of course not. Their pork tonkotsu ramen is next-level, with slices of pork that practically melt in your mouth. Seriously, one sip of that broth and you’ll wonder if you inadvertently slipped into a Studio Ghibli movie. I am not done yet, that steak hibachi with fried rice with some glazing yum yum sauce! Mmmmmmmm!
Top it all off with service that’s friendlier than your favorite aunt on Thanksgiving. These folks wear their dedication on their sleeves, and it shows in every roll, every bowl, and every cheerful greeting. Arashi is the kind of place that transforms a casual dinner into a full-on food adventure.
Long story short: If you haven’t treated yourself to Arashi, correct this error in your gastronomic code immediately. Trust me, once you taste their sushi, you’ll be just as stuffed and happy as I am—and you’ll keep coming back for another...
Read moreArashi is a WONDERFUL addition to the little small town of Crestview. They deserve the business and they deserve to be successful. Paul, the General Manager, was in the dining floor constantly checking up on customers, seating families, cleaning, and serving tables. You saw him attentive to each staff member and working as a team, not just a leader. That is someone who cares about the business, cares about his staff, and cares about the customers. The food itself was wonderful! We ordered A LOT and it was all FULL portions and delicious. We mostly definitely got the bang for our buck. AYCE is $23.99 & easily met with all the food available. We tried multiple appetizers and multiple sushi rolls & all of them were completely satisfying, flavorful, and top notch quality. We have yet to try the hibachi, sashimi, or noodle dishes but it all looked delicious. Once again, FULL portions. Show up with an appetite and be courteous of what/how much you order. There were only a few things that could be worked on, but expected with new staff. The staff were handling the crowd as well as they could & were very kind to each table. They're still learning the menu, but that's not surprising as the menu is HUGE. I worked with sushi for 3+ years, and you're learning a whole new language, set of ingredients, and being exposed to new recipes constantly. To get the most out of your visit, know what you're going to order BEFORE you go. Any time we go to AYCE, we always have our drinks, apps, and 2-3 main dishes in our mind. We believe it's a strategy for the best experience. Kudos to the entire staff for the positive attitude and joyful hearts as they served. 100% going back. We only wish the BEST success for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Arashi, and I can't wait to share my experience. This gem in the area serves a delightful array of sushi, hibachi, and other Japanese cuisine, and it truly stands out as the best sushi spot around.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience. The decor is tastefully done, blending traditional Japanese elements with a modern twist, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Now, let's get to the food! The sushi at Arashi is exceptional. Each roll is crafted with precision, and the freshness of the ingredients is evident with every bite. We tried several varieties, and each one was better than the last. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, showcasing the skill of the sushi chefs. The hibachi dishes were equally impressive. The flavors were robust, and the presentation was beautiful, making our meal not just tasty but visually appealing as well.
A huge shoutout to our server, Devan! His attentive service and knowledge of the menu made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Devan was friendly and ensured that our needs were met throughout the meal, making us feel well taken care of.
If you're in the area and craving sushi, I wholeheartedly recommend Arashi. With delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and superb service, it's a dining experience that you won't...
