Robert L. F. Sikes Public Library aka Crestview Public Library — Attraction in Crestview

August 6 my kids and I went to the library it's a nice library, I saw a kid coughed on the kids books didn't think it was a serious cough so I had to grab kids books for my kids to read. Then the next day I had covid-19 systems I didnt think it was serious cough but then later I was getting worse feeling ever like I was dying, throwing up after eating after eating, smelling everything, coughing, stuffy nose, fever. Later late at night around 1am I checked myself to the emergency room the doctors came back told me I have covid-19, I never caught covid-19 till I went to the Crestview library. PLEASE SANITIZE YOUR LIBRARY FOR THIS CITY SAFETY SO COVID-19 WONT KEEP SPREADING.ALSO IF YOUR KIDS, TEENAGERS, ADULTS AND ELDERLY IF YALL ARE SICK STAY AT HOME. Rude librarian, and unjust high fees for couple days late. We were very happy to go and discover our local library, and enjoyed browsing the books and items available. I got every one a card and we all checked out something (some books and others dvd or CDs ), we returned when the books were due and were told we owed close to $30. I asked why and was told In a rude way that the CDs and DVDs were over due. We did not realize that they have different due dates for different items, so for three very old CDs and on old movie they wanted us to pay more than the cost of them combined. Because we were 2-3 days late. Rude , confusing due dates, late fees higher than the cost of items themselves. Would not recommend or visit again. All in charge...

Waited about 25 min awhile For the librarian to help me she kept chatting away with woman in front of us about personal stuff ...then another woman came out from.behind the wall..and told me I could not sit in the chairs..but never offered.
