Eds RC — Local services in Cross Lanes

Apparently they don't take returns or exchanges. This despite stating when the item was purchased to keep the receipt as there is a 7 day window to return. I wasn't going to take the receipt and was told I should just in case. It is truly disappointing that I spent $180 for a r/c truck for my son with a battery that lasts less than 10 minutes and stalls out frequently...As a solution I was told I could purchase another, better battery from them...hahaha why would I do that? If it doesn't work I can't return it. Then I'm out even more money. You'd think the employee selling the vehicle (who claims they have 3 of them) would have said something about the battery life. Nope! I could see denying the return if the truck was absolutely destroyed but it wasn't. It was ran once! It's an absolute shame when you try to shop local and this happens. We had great experiences prior which is why we went here for this purchase. I guess big box shops with customer service...

Dont buy anything from this place they will take advantage of you make you buy things you dont need but tell you that you have to buy or it voids the warranty which is not true at all wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will tell everyone not to shop at Ed's. The reason iam not happy is that I talked to traxxas today about something else and asked them if I had to buy traxxas batteries and charger to keep from voiding the warranty and they said no and someone there at your store said it would void my warranty if I didn't buy traxxas I even asked about other batteries and charger setups but was told I had to get traxxas or it would void my warranty i dont like being lied too i also called another rc shop they said 620 with tax for the same truck different charger and 2 batteries when i spent 725 for the same set up they didn't try and sell me the more expensive charger and batteries they'll get my business...

I called and spoke with a lady before I drove an hour and a half 1 way to look for an e-revo. She was so friendly and helpful. After showing up and talking to the guy at the shop I ended up leaving spending over 600$ between the 2 cars we got. A mini t and an armma sct. It's been 2 days and I'm still all smiles. He worked with me for a good 20 30 minutes to make sure I got everything I needed. I have been in the hobbie for a good 5 years and this place was a pleasure. I highly recommend anyone go here. You dont have to by something but I'm sure you will leave happy just by the customer service. Some great...
