One of my favorites. They always have nutty stuff. Some people complain that the tools are not the best quality, but I say "hey I'm not a carpenter and I can't afford expensive power tools"! So when all 3 of my lanterns (2 Coleman 1walmart)had the same thing break on them and I didn't have $60+ to replace one of them well off to HF it is! And the under $10 wood burning/soldering kit is fairly janky (and naturally the "instructions" are just 10 pages of hilarious safety warnings) but I managed to teach myself how to solder and now my 3 lanterns I depend on for heat are in good working order! I attempted to exchange some incorrect articles I purchased for cash for the correct ones, and had the receipt. They refused to exchange them without scanning the barcode on the back of my driver's license, which contains sensitive personal information, including my Social Security Number. The manager was extremely argumentative and told me it is the law that they have to scan my ID. I told her there is no law in Tennessee that says that. Went in to buy a weight distribution hitch and sway bar stabilizers ( which websites states are in-stock in store ) the manager confirmed they would be in the back but however she stated that they would not be going back to get them that I would have to wait until they put them out on the shelves. She was very rude about it. It is upsetting due to I love the store but im thinking that I should start spending my money somewhere else.
