China King — Restaurant in Crossville

China King is superb when it comes to Customer Service. I had a family visit and placed a large order. I initially requested 6:45 pickup, however due to traffic issues, I had to reschedule pickup for 7:30, they were closing at 8pm Riley is outstanding in patience, friendliness and Customer Service. I requested that meals be marked as it can be confusing which meal is which, especially when ordering different egg rolls, and numerous main meals. The soup and meals are prepared with fresh ingredients and always hot after a 20 minute drive home. The Egg Rolls are the best we have had since leaving the Far East. They use fresh ingredients in their egg rolls and they are large. Their egg rolls are a great value. We have been Asian Food deprived since moving to Crossville until we discovered China King. They are take-out only and they do it right with large and excellent menu selections. Good quality meals, good service and fair market value pricing. With family members from Central and Southeast Asia, China King comes through with a variety of outstanding hot meals every time. Me and fellow co workers order from here often but lately the Chinese lady (not sure if she is the owner) has been very rude and nasty. Today was the last straw for us. We called in orders and I went to pick them up. Lady was first upset because I wasn't paying for the orders together (ONLY TWO ORDERS AND WE ORDERED SEPARETLY) she rolled her eyes at me( no problem KAREN), then as I am paying for these orders I hand her my debit card for mine and she swipes it and throws it back across the counter to me. She won't be getting our money anymore and anyone elses I have the chance to speak to. She had other customers in there at the time that just looked at her like she was crazy. I asked her if she was always that rude and nasty but she stomped off to the kitchen. Not going to hurt me at all not spending my money there. Actually there are other chinese restaurants in the area that taste like real chinese not frozen food that I would rather spend my money on. Excellent staff but food was gross. The boneless spareribs with fried rice tasted terrible. No flavor in rice and nothing else like onion or carrots or anything. Ribs were not bbq or sweet sour, they were like a combo of soy and who knows. I spit it out when first tasted. The chicken lomein was over cooked and chewy again with no flavor. Need seasoning.
