Drove 10 miles to shop there today and they were closed due to "technical difficulties", but the sign on the door said they would re-open at 2pm. So I waited around across the street and wasted an hour and a half and at 2pm I went back and they were still not open. So I called the store and the idiot who answered didn't even know when they were going to open. I think it was the actual store owner, since most Save a Lots are independently owned and then he tells me 3:30. I asked him why he put a note on the door saying they would open at 2pm and he said "we had a problem". I said you have a problem alright, you've lost my business for good and he said "That's fine". Going out door looked at reciept. No discount. Returned to checkout and was told must tell them I'm a senior because someone was offended by being asked if she was senior. I'm sure I'm not the only one who did not receive my discount because of this. Now here's the problem. All us seniors who missed getting our discounts because of 1 person are now highly offended. Read moreVery clean and organized unlike most Save A Lot stores we have shopped in. We have shopped here a few times and all the staff are very kind. Today I was disappointed though. I went to buy marked down confetti popcorn on sale for .50/per bag. Unfortunately they were 5 weeks EXPIRED. I tried to discretely inform a sales associate and she informed me that they are still good. She claimed they opened a bag to try and they still tasted fine.
