What is the point of having hours of operation if you’re not going to follow them? If you’re going to lock the doors at 2:30 pm on a Sunday (10/13/24 to be exact) when you’re allegedly open until 4:30 pm, the least you could do is hang up a sign stating you’ll be right back or won’t be back at all. I rang the doorbell and called. I won’t assume you closed early because all the lights were on inside. Unless you waste power keeping the lights on 24/7. I was out there for about 30 minutes planning my next few stops on my trip, and I tried again before I took off but the door was still locked.

This a is a very nice visitor center with a tremendous amount of information on Tennessee's National Parks, State Parks, State Natural Areas, historic sites and other great locations to experience.
There is an exceptional amout of information brochures that highlight some of the many locations worth experiencing.
