OMG!!! Best dental office and staff I have ever had the pleasure (yes, my dental work from Dr.Yang and his staff was pleasurable) of meeting. I have avoided a dentist for over 13 yrs and I am 26. Needless to say, but I needed some work. First, Spencer at reception is quick, attentitive and caring. You don't wait long to be checked in, which is a huge plus when you are scared or nervous and in pain. Second, the hygienists/assistants are nothing short of AMAZING! They took the anxiety out of my visit in no more than a minute or two from just sitting me down. They are fun and supportive and very knowledgeable. They create such a relaxed and chill environment I was at ease the entire time, before, during and after my procedure(s). They actually care about your pain comfort and any concerns you have. Dr. Yang and his staff talk to you and treat you like a person and not just someone to bill. From the moment you meet the team, you will realize that this practice cares about keeping thier patients and giving the BEST medical care for you. Third, I want to give a MASSIVE shout out to Tori for making my xrays quick, tolarable and super accurate! Plus, she has nifty tricks that keep people like me who have a strong gag reflex from gagging and making a mess. Massive shout out to Carri as well for keeping me calm, relaxed, and assisting Dr. Yang in restoring many, many teeth of mine. She was so attentitive, and thorough and gentle! Lastly, another MASSIVE shout out to Dr. Yang, I truly believe that you will not find a more dedicated, caring and gentle dentist around. Dr. Yang shakes your hand upon meeting you and gives you that direct eye contact that says "I care." From the exact moment I met Dr.Yang, I felt comfortable, my nerves dissipated and I knew I just found a golden nugget of an office. I was excited to go get my dental work done, and that has NEVER happened before. I have had many bad experiences with dentists (some of the reason why I avoided them) in the past that left me feeling depressed amd hopeless. This was not the case at TRU Family Dental. I had a two and a half hour procedure and the entire time Dr. Yang was concerned with my comfort. I left in tears! Not from dissatisfaction or pain but from relief that I finally found a dental practice that cares and wants to help you. Best dental office PERIOD. I will be back, my family will be back and I would more than highly recommend this office, this wonderful amazing staff to anyone. Especially if you have a fear of dental work. During my visits to Tru Dental, I had varying experiences with the staff. Brandy, who cleaned my teeth during the first visit, was exceptional. She was very informative and displayed kindness throughout the appointment. However, my second visit with an older lady named Terry (not sure if I got her name correctly) was less than satisfactory. Her attitude was not the best, and she did not come across as particularly polite or kind. But she finished the job.

The most disappointing experience was during my last visit, with Linda. She began cleaning my teeth, starting with the bottom, but did not complete the cleaning. The dentist interrupted to speak with me, and when Linda resumed cleaning, she did not clean my top teeth at all. When I asked her about this, she responded by saying she could clean them if I wanted her to. Throughout the cleaning, I had to closely monitor what she was doing to ensure my teeth were cleaned properly.

At the end of the cleaning, I noticed that some of my bottom teeth were still not entirely clean. When I mentioned this to Linda, she seemed confused and said she had used both the machine and cleaned by hand. She offered to go over it again, but I declined and said I would clean them myself.

Furthermore, the staff offered me a new product that they were unsure about its effectiveness, and not all employees were informed about it. When I asked questions at the front desk, I received incorrect answers. It was only after speaking to Linda again that I got some clarification, but even then, it was uncertain if the product would work.

I expressed my concerns about my experience with Linda and requested a different person for my next cleaning. However, the staff did not inquire about the issue or attempt to address my dissatisfaction.

Dr.Yang and his staff are wonderful. I never enjoyed going to the dentist in the past. In fact, I dreaded my dental appointments. That has all changed since I discovered Tru Family Dental. Dr Yang is kind, caring, and extremely gentle. I recently had to have multiple extractions and it was the best dental experience I have ever had. The procedure itself was fast, painfree , and much better than I had anticipated. The rest of the staff all genuinely care for their patients. That is proven by their warm smiles and sincere questions about how each of their patients are doing. Spencer does an amazing job at the front desk. He is fast, friendly and very knowledgable. Teri is always bright and cheerful and very welcoming. Brandee is bubbly and joyful and did the best teeth cleaning ever. Tori is fun and fabulous, always a smile and a comment to make you laugh. Especially if you look nervous. Carrie assisted with my extractions and she helped me relax and laugh before they got started. That is a true gift. She deserved a medal. I can't express how impressed I am with the entire staff. Each person brings special skills and abilities to their jobs . It is apparent that it is not just a job to them , but a calling. Dr. Yang completed the incredible care I received by calling me that evening to check up on me. He is an exceptional dentist and it is clear to me how truly concerned he is about providing the best care for his patients. Dr Yang and his staff are one in a million and that is why if it was possible I would rate them 10 stars...
