I hate to have to write a bad review about a place I used to enjoy so much, but one of their managers made sure they wouldn't be getting my business anymore. A few weeks ago I ordered some wings and a salad and told them to not to add avocados since my wife is very allergic to them. I pick up the food, drive back to my house and my wife opens her salad and notices that there are avocados all over the salad.
I call Wings and Rings back up and explain that I live relatively far from the restaurant so I wouldn't be able to come back to pick up another salad. A female manager then offers me a credit for the salad and an appetizer for the trouble. I was satisfied with that and the next time we would order from there we would be able to claim the food I was offered. I am told that a note will be placed on my phone number in their system for the free items.
I call a couple of weeks later to place a new order and to claim the offered free food and have a male manager talk with me. He informs me that there is no note on my phone number and that he "won't be giving me a free $10 item just because they accidentally added a .40 cent avocado." and that the best he would do was 15% off of my order. I don't care how little the avocados cost! If my wife had eaten the salad with avocados in it we would have had to go to the hospital!! I told him that I would settle for only the salad (I was also ordering wings that I was going to be paying for) and he still said no and had an attitude like I was just trying to scam them for free food. Absolutely turned me off to this place, which is a shame because it was one of my favorites and ate there often.
No problem, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that will enjoy my...
Read moreCame here on Memorial Day... came here to celebrate my brothers birthday, restaurant had 5 tables eating, then 4 as one table finished. Waitress tells us it will be 20 mins. We are confused, 20 minutes why? Oh, because 90% of the tables are dirty? And you have to clear off the small tables first? That makes sense. 3 of our party of 8 are here at this time, so we called them to see if they actually wanted to consume the food served here today. I was seriously concerned it would be undercooked, It just looked so scuzzy in there. Anyway, another waitress with an attitude comes up and tells us “if you want to eat here the food’s going to take at least 40 minutes.” Well, my bro still got wanted to wait because it’s his favorite spot... up until then we were going to make it work. I asked her if she was suggesting I leave, my mother said something about the other girl clearing small tables instead of making room for 8... this young girl says “okay, bye” and just turns around and walks away. I guess she was suggesting we leave! Note to management— please don’t leave children to run your business while you enjoy the holiday weekend. It’s an awful idea! Also note- my SIL says they were marketing a Memorial Day deal online ! And they couldn’t have more than 5 tables operating at once. Yikes! Good luck to your business if...
Read moreSo they say the best way to build a strong brand and customer base delivering great food that compels people to talk about products. Well a friend, who's wife found this found this place told me about it. Even though it is a drive away, 29.8 miles, I had to give it a try due to him telling how awesome the is here. So I did it, I tried it and from the first bite to the last, it was totally awesome. I have now taken it upon myself to spread the word to even more people... And they've raved about it as well, the word of mouth just keeps going and going... The awesome part is the ability to pick your desired heat level on your wings. From mild to atomic and everything in between...
If I may through one suggestion to the owners, franchise or franchisees, make the cauliflower wings starter/appetizer into something that is of the regular wing section. I know people, a lot of people, who are vegan/vegetarian and they have tried them and loved them. It's just such a shame that you have it only as an appetizer and small versus a real meal selection... Just my 2 cents and food for thought...
Anyways, everything is awesome... Can't wait to dine-in and enjoy everything you guys/gals...
