Design and Save (D&S) provide tremendous attention to detail, wisdom, and a caring and professional experience from the design phase throughout the entire remodeling process. You do not have to pay for an architect to have a beautiful bathroom or kitchen or garage etc. D&S provide experienced design services as well as the demo and remodeling. D&S just finished our upstairs bathroom remodel. Taking our tiny, cramped bathroom and creating a beautiful spa-like bathroom. We could not be happier. From the ease of working with Mitch on the design of the bathroom and after many changes and suggestions, he brought my ideas to life. We expanded the footprint of the bathroom east, west and north to accommodate a walk-in shower with a seat for the perfect space in order for us to keep our beautiful restored 1912 Kohler clawfoot tub. Jason, the project manager, kept us apprised of every step of the remodel project. Ben and Nick are masterful craftsmen, and it seems like there is no home remodel project that they cannot handle. They remodeled and transformed our ugly kitchen in 2022 and we have the most beautiful kitchen now. Who knew that moving a door could change the functionality of a kitchen that much! What I love most is that D&S communicates easily and professionally and listens to our concerns and help us understand the process and what can and cannot be done. They always managed to put me at ease and made me feel like my ideas and concerns mattered. D&S also was amenable to changing or adding to the project (i.e. new interior doors throughout the house to match and shelves) that were not originally in the design plan. The process is organically fluid. They also work with wonderful and experienced third party vendors for tiling, electric, plumbing, flooring and shower door assembling. Design & Save installed our new quartz countertops in our kitchen. I was able to hand pick the exact style and color I wanted, and the pricing was very affordable. What impressed me most, however was what happened after we had a small issue come up (no fault of Design & Save). The owner, Dave, immediately moved mountains to make things right. Even though I’m sure they had larger more expensive projects and our simple countertop project might seem like “small change”, Dave made us feel like we mattered just as much. To me, the true meaning of customer service isn’t what happens when a project goes perfectly, but what happens when an unexpected obstacle comes up. You can tell he cares deeply about his business, his employees, and his customers. From our initial meeting with Mitchell Moore and the follow-up meetings, emails and phone calls we felt confident that we were making the right choice in allowing them to upgrade/remodel our Bayside home kitchen. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the team once work began. Any issues that came up were dealt with promptly thanks to good communication with Jason & Brad. The workmanship by Mike’s Flooring on the installation of the new hardwood floors to match our existing floors is amazing!
